Gulf United FC, Dubai UAE’s delegation in Abuja visits Buhari's S A, Minister, AMAC Chairman, Bwari Chairman, pledges due diligence in the scholarship processes

The Delegation of Gulf United FC, Dubai UAE, that arrived in Abuja on the 4th of August for a scholarship program tagged: "Study and play football scholarship empowerment program", aimed at offering the opportunity to about one hundred and twenty Nigerian Youths has on Thursday visited Hon. Ibrahim Bapetel Hassan, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Policy Development and Analysis, Hon Dr Abdullahi Adamu Candido, The Executive Chairman / Mayor of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Public Services and Procurement Minister, and the APC Chairmanship flag bearer for Bwari Area Council, Honourable Haruna Shekwolo.

The Gulf United delegation accompanied by the CYMS team to the courtesy calls resulted fruitful as the white men would definitely retire to their sundry countries with a different perspective about the Nigerian Security situation.

The Gulf team lead, Jordi Shiels, Director Gulf United, While speaking shortly after being hosted by the SSA to the President, stated that Nigeria is as Calm than expected compared to what is in the media. He also disclosed that Nigerians are receptive and for sure he has been having a good time in Nigeria.

Hon. Ibrahim Hassan who was delighted to host them assured them of further partnership while urging them to make the selection process as transparent as possible.

Also speaking, Anyanwu Marcellinus, Head Scout, and Consultant of Gulf United Nigeria Showcase applauded the Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari for his resilience and resolve to make Nigeria proud again as he noted that the opportunity brought to Nigeria is first of its kind in the entire of African Continent.


Similarly, the Executive Chairman, AMAC, A. A Candido while giving his welcome note, assured the delegation of Gulf United of being in safe hands with its Nigeria partners, CYMS under the leadership of Comr. Obinna Nwaka.


Speaking further, A. A Candido thanked Nigeria Partners for helping facilitate such a huge scholarship program to Nigeria, assuring them of an open platform for partnership which in turn should result in more scholarship to benefit more Nigerian youths in the nearest future.

Comr. Obinna Nwaka, Director General, CYMS in his goodwill message also commended the Gulf United delegation for believing in Nigeria and Nigerians, assuring them of having the best young Nigerians for the scholarship as he noted that Nigeria is the hub of talent.
