To be at peace is to be convenient with, it's to be free from animosity. Only through Faith can we achieve this state. It is through Faith that we can enter into the throne of grace boldly to obtain mercy.
Faith in Christ breaks the barrier between man and God.
It all starts with acknowledgement, acknowledge the fact that Jesus is the Son of God, He came to Earth, for man's sake, He died for sin but it's resurrected for Righteousness. Believe He has the power to transmute you from the kingdom of this world into His eternal kingdom. Allow Him reign over you. Then daily cultivate a relationship with Him, grow your Faith, always believing.

Faith in God through Christ is the true source of righteousness for the fallen man. Works do not Justify a man, everything a sinner does is sin.
Let us look up in faith to the lamb of God who was sacrificed for our iniquities and was raised for our justification. For the arm of flesh profiteth not.
Don't rely on your works or morality to escape eternal damnation. Only Jesus can save... Please, I urge you, don't rely on yourself, surrender to God through his son Jesus the savior, you don't have to do anything but believe in him, then you are free to live your life of morality.
