For the sixth year in a row, Cape Town International in South Africa has been named Africa's best airport.

The airport also scooped the top prize for being the continent's cleanest and having the best staff.

This is according to the latest Skytrax World Airport Awards. Skytrax, which has been ranking airports for more than two decades, announced the 2021 winners on 5 August.

So let's take a little tour inside this airport, the second largest and busiest in SA - following OR Tambo International in Johannesburg.

Personally, I think OR Tambo is more impressive. I guess it has more challenges coz it's much larger and busier than the others. Or am I just being a Gautenger?

I actually reckon O.R Tambo is more impressive to be honest. Cape Town tends to be hyped because of tourism I think

Nigeria is a useless country.

Beautiful Airport. This would have been Nigeria but lack of goodwill have destroyed this great country. We are now living in past glory.

I just love this Cape Town landscape. Every city with such landscape should be so beautiful, but no! Nigeria's own Ogun state (Idanre hill) looks like a slum, with scattered, disorganised stone-aged buildings.
It's just so sad seeing that my own country has refused to grow since 1960.

Wow, I checked the area out - it could have seriously resembled Rio in Brazil with proper investment.

Now, that's what an airport should look like. Kudos to Cape Town, South Africa for giving her people such a beautiful, organized and welcoming airport. I'm not going to waste my breath talking on the glorified bus stations we call airports in Nigeria.
