Man Utd unveils Varane before kickoff, to wear 19

Manchester United Football Club has unveiled their new signing, Rafael Varane during their first match of the 2021/22 season.


Varane who signed from Real Madrid for a record fee of £50 was present at Old Trafford and will wear jersey number 19 for the Red Devils.


The former Madrid skipper who signed for United has been a major target for OleGunnar Solskjear as the club seek to solidify the defense problem they faced the past two seasons.


Solskjear believes Varane who signed a 3 years contract is a better option as he seeks to peer him with the likes of Harry Maguire the teams captain.


The new signing has won several awards for Galaticos and he his excepted to use his wealth of experience to bring trophies to Old Trafford. United have been on trophy drought the past 4 seasons.

The Red Devil opened their Premier League Campaign with an emphatic win, having defeated Leeds United 5-1.


Bruno Fernandez, Greenwood and Fred were on the score sheet. Paul Pogba was phenomenal at the afternoon having provided 4 assist and fernandez with the hatrick for the club. It was his first ever hatrick for United. He was named Man of the match.
