Our Niger Delta, our oil, our oil crooners, how far? Hope say na ipob say make them give host communities 3%. Same amount with Kogi and Kaduna that have no oil but just say pipeline pass through them, them go follow enjoy the 3% with you that have air and water pollution.

Finally]President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the Petroleum Industry Bill 2021 into law.

Working from home in five days quarantine as required by the Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19 after returning from London on Friday August 13, the President assented to the Bill Monday August 16, in his determination to fulfill his constitutional duty.

The ceremonial part of the new legislation will be done on Wednesday, after the days of mandatory isolation would have been fulfilled.

The Petroleum Industry Act provides legal, governance, regulatory and fiscal framework for the Nigerian petroleum industry, the development of host communities, and related matters.

The Senate had passed the Bill on July 15, 2021, while the House of Representatives did same on July 16, thus ending a long wait since early 2000s, and notching another high for the Buhari administration.

Though I don't support all NNAMDI KANU'S method but this is the sort of injustice he fights against.

How do you expect peace in Nigeria with this sort of brazen criminality and nepotism?

Every youth of southern Nigeria and the ones to be born will agitate against this bill, especially niger deltans, this is the kind of peace Buhari gives Nigerians.

Lol. The block heads among them continue with their: “our Naiggardelta no be part of your Igbo Biafra,” perhaps, until all their leaders relocate to Abuja due to environmental degradation in the Nigerdelta area.

PIB which refused passage all the years now got fraudulently doctored and passed - and quickly signed by President Buhari, the 21st Century Othman Danfodio of Arewa.

You've been misguided. There was no mention of the North but frontier States, meaning any prospect in potential States outside the Niger-Delta. It could be Osun or Ekiti State, or even Enugu State.

He will quickly sign it since the bill disproportionately favour its region.

Buhari is the most cabalistic and nepotistic president this unfortunate country has ever produced.

He is a curse to this nation.

Where is Edwin Clark and his Niger Delta Coward militant that was threating Hell fire ? They have all gone into hiding. Shameless People!!

They have given them peanut of oil pipeline Contract while the North takes the lion share of 30% while Nigeria Delta got 3% .

Why do you think Akpabio has been visiting the Niger Delta Region lately? He has been greasing their palms and that of one die hard militant whose name starts with the letter "T" with hard currency so they don't f*cking care anymore if their region has been sold off.

Mr. Fadiya, why not blame your worst parasitic National Assembly that passed the bill, instead of blaming the President for signing it. Hold the members representing your constituency responsible and stop the blame game of Buhari

They refused to fight for their rights. This was a perfect opportunity to mobilize their people and raise hell but Asari was busy attacking Nnamdi Kanu and Tompolo was collecting $$ from Sylva in the creeks.
