A reputable Engineering organization at Ilupeju is recruiting for an instrumentation engineer who would be responsible for efficiency , safety researching, designing, developing new systems and devices which will be used to control, monitor and regulate industrial processes and operations. This may involve aspects of both software engineering and hardware engineering.

Job Description
* Develop and establish instrument requisitions and specifications.

* Ensure to determine inconsistencies and issues present on equipment parameters.

* Develop electronic copies of instrument parameters and relate text file of database information.

* Process on time needed instrument revisions.

* Analyze instrument-and-control segment of supplier bids and participate in selection process of supplier.

* Review design of instrument-and-control for adherence with customer needs and applicable codes.

* Identify need of instrument revisions on basis of equipment specification revisions.

* Interact with fabricator across fabrication phase of instrument-and-control issues in project.

* Inspect control-and- instrument site construction, fabrication and equipment for compliance with applicable codes and project requirements.

* Evaluate and recommend solutions for technical issues in control and instrument area.

* Coach and train equipment engineers associated with instrument as well as control deliverables.

* Perform in cooperation and effectively with all team members.

* Comply with all established procedures and guidelines related with instrument engineering.

* Check performance of others required for technical accuracy.

* Convey prime decisions made on instrument engineering projects to others.

Job Requirement
* Must hold a HND/B.SC in Electrical engineering or in similar discipline.
* Instrumentation engineers must be able to run tests and analyze the results.
* Must monitor over an extended period of time to ensure consistent performance and reliable safety standards
* Must be able to confront a situation and troubleshoot why things are going wrong
* Must be able to think outside the box which leads to novel solutions that increases performance, efficiency and revenue
* Must be able to express your thoughts and the results of their work in both written and oral form
* Must be able to collaborate and interact well with others and build off of other people’s ideas
*Must be able to pay attention to details.
*Must be able to keep up with those changes in their field to remain relevant
