I love the woman, if not for her instinct, courage and training, she would’ve ended up losing the entire arm.

That man is one hell of a brave man.
No experience in animal training but still decided to take that risk.
They exist a thin line between stupidity and bravery.

The guy really try.
The most fascinating and impressive thing is that he have zero experience in animal training. He just instinctively decided to jump in there and save a soul without considering the risk.

Oyibo and taking unnecessary risk is like bread and butter.

And yet you enjoy the proceeds of the risks they take from vaccines to safety gear and more.

The lady really got experience still as she was in sync with the death roll of the reptilian and did get the limb to snap.

If you check very well now, if the Alligator is a female, it must be wearing pampas or pants....
And they must have found a cute name for her....may be Cutie Alliga or Linda Alliga....

Nonsense and White people.... mtchewwww

I don't blame them , God created them to be simple , come to Nigeria and meet our Economy, you will know the Alligator is only a food not pet.

Nairaland is fast becoming something like a blog where unverified news flies. That person is no animal trainer, she's just a poor caregiver. That is a zoo & she was just going about her normal daily job

That's why we should not blame Nigerians that use wild animals for palliative.

It's better to eat and digest an alligator, than for another human being to be digested by the same alligator.

Wow... scary.

Whenever something like this happens, Nairalanders would be like "whites are stupid", "whites play with everything", "whites are dumb", etc. But then these risks they take are what keep them ahead. You might be wondering how training an alligator would keep anyone ahead. The truth is, a lot people, including those who call them dumb, would gladly pay thier hard earned money to watch the enrapturing performances. While we are fighting for oil and hoping agriculture would save us, others are thinking out of the box to generate income.

Like someone said here, the predefined and almost sacred African lifestyle/lifecycle of Africans -- go to school, get a job, get married, give birth, grow old and die -- does not bring about change. And we shouldn't be afraid of change cause that's the wheel progress. Let's be bold enough to do something. Make a mark. Write a book. Help people. Disrupt the system positively. Do something 'crazy'. Criticise an idea if you must. Challenge the norm. Prove a point.

Good morning, beautiful Nigerians smiley

totally agreed wit u. No risk no gain, Africa don't take risk ,reason the Continent is backwards. Alligators training is even small wen u watch how they train orcas (killer whales) for entertainment at the sea world, u will marvel.
