The movie is for adults but it helps learn a lot about history and is realistic.It also shows how greedy,cruel, wicked,brave, passionate and determined humans can be.The sexual parts help to drive the agenda of the story because thats what happened in that time.It also portrays how life is not always a Disney happily ever after crap

I remember watching one episode in season 1 and I quit because of my strict religous beliefs and belief it is porn and will ruin my life.It was my brother that schooled me on how a healthy mind doesn't mind watching those kind of movies and I should stop my religous gragra.

That "Spartacus" movie was really a Thriller.

Apart from "Game Of Thrones" that came close to the high Standards that the Spartacus movie set when it came to the use of swords and their bloody sword fights, I still don't know why I find "Game Of Thrones" more interesting than "Spartacus" even though I love that Spartacus movie.
