Like he uses his fathers money to build it. lol

So, you mean the useless and incompetent ones before him with more money refused to build the same Lagos Ibadan railway because it was their father's money?

Hatred and bitterness just won't let you Igbos make any sense.

The crash in OIL PRICE crashed the economy, not Buhari.

The nation could not cope with the price crash because the Jonathan regime looted the treasury, and saved little if anything.

if you burrow to fund budget , the economy will crash if you don't have means of paying back.
Debt is not good for the economy.

Jona collected N51 trillion, but still no rail, no refinery, no road, no bridg, no hospital, no electricity, nothing, just looting and sharing..

If there are infrastructures like this, economy won't crash cos it means more investors would be coming to the country

No investors will come to any country with insecurity challenge.
Fix insecurity and power sector for investors will move in.
Economy will improve and infrastructural projects will abound.
Malaysia, china, thailand stabilize their economy and fix insecurity before commencing on infrastructural projects that drink blood of the masses.

The security sector is really important in attracting investors to the country... Considering the way the agitators from the south have been tamed early in order no to worsen the little insecurities in Southern region, and the sudden surrendering of Boko haram a, bandits in the north, Buhari might want to leave a good legacy before completing his term. They are already rounding up

This is why you crashed the economy?
The fall of oil prices and COVID-19 crashed the economy.

This is common knowledge.

I hope they bring in more coaches soon and open up the other stations.

This rail is a testament that if a government is serious enough, four years is not too little to make things happen.

Like I said tell yourself what makes you happy.

Buhari is the only head of state to deliver a recession in the history of this nation.

Did it in the 80's did it again in the 20's.

Nobody else has put Nigeria In a recession once let alone twice.

I can't wait for him to leave office in 2023.

In the 80s under Shagari's administration, Nigeria's new found over dependence on importation depleted our reserves to a record low that could only last 6 months.

Buhari took over in the midst of economic downturn to introduce austerity measures to save the country but he took the blame inatead.

G.E.J in 2015 had depleted the reserves again and fall in oil prices exposed our economy to recession. Buhari took over again and has managed the economy despite COVID-19 further damage.

Learn to read up and arrive at logical conclusions void of sentiments and band wagon mentality.

No need to be condescending, if I has known that you were going to be condescending I wouldn't have bothered.

All I see in your rebuttal is an argument based on oil, oil and oil as if Buhari is President of Oil.

Not only have you mischievously chosen the data points to make your arguments you have also twisted the narrative to suit your agenda. A classic double tragedy.

There are 8 Heads of States counting from Shagari down to Jonathan inclusive.

Yet you cheery picked the ones that suit your narrative.

Nigeria's finances were also in an absolute mess in 1999 when Obasanjo took over. The nation was reeling from years of plundering by the Nigerian Military and the situation was bleak.

Yet Obasanjo courageously set himself on an agenda to privatise several sectors of the economy and turn around the economy. He armed himself with experts (not withstanding their ethnicity) and set to work. Some of which include, NOI

Those efforts have today yielded the Telco and private education sector, as well as various manufacturing concerns such as Dangote.

Unlike Buhari he understood that opening up sectors of the economy where only government had patronage was essential.

Buhari on the other had has been busy restricting entrepreneurial activity and chasing investors away with his parochial sentiment.

Buhari lacks the capacity to lead a multi-ethnic country such as ours. We remember how Obasanjo death with OPC, can Buhari do the same to kinsmen?

Buhari is not restricting entrepreneurial activity. He has made the environment tough for economic saboteurs and importers of ühat üe can produce. Nigeria is outgrowing trading and commission agent business. If this is the vision you have, move to Malabo and be importing liquor.

Mention 1 government controlled sector that has been opened up to the private sector since he came into power?
