Military ko, Taliban ni.

First we must see the elimination of boko haram and bandits in the forests of the north and south of this nation. We must confirm the end of kidnapping for ransom.

The military that went into the creeks of the Niger Delta and could not do anything. Abeg make we hear something.

We know that when the boys of the Niger Delta threaten, the FG wakes up, listens and complies.

MEGA4BILLION:

Very stvpid statement, has the President been assenting to all the bills presented to him by the national assembly?
He has rejected the electoral bill twice but rush to sign PIB because it favoured his people.
Niger Deltans, South South/South East....the most greedy and selfish people in Nigeria......give them 10, 20, 50%, the region will still remain as it is.......

I'm afraid you didn't make any sense.

To the news, the last thing Nigeria needs now is attack on ND pipelines because the economy is already in a huge mess. The federal government has two options: Use influential people from the region to calm frayed nerves or increase the allocation to the oil-bearing communities to 5%. Either way, attacks on the pipelines is something that must be avoided at all cost.

In a world where everyone is being advised to have multiple streams of income, Nigerian leaders are comfortable running a country of over 200 million people solely on petrodollars. Thanks to crude oil - nobody cares about developing other income streams. Now, Nigeria's debts are rocketing at lightning speed. All this makes me to believe that Nigeria didn't deserve independence when it was given on a sliver platter.

The problem is that they will likely ground Oil and gas exploration and production activities in the Niger Delta, even the major pipeline investments there will be attacked which will make our economy slide back into recession and then collapse..

Whoever told Ahmed Lawan that he and the Northern cabals could get away with the daylight robbery on oil producing communities for Northerners to siphon 30 percent NNPC profits didn't advise him properly. Our economy is heading for the rocks.

Northerners are good schemers.. Very good politicians too. They are actively using their position to pursue their agenda, paying off other tribes and negotiating with others where need be.

Its a pity all the south care about is money and position

These Niger Delta People should stop disturbing us with their noise. Enough of it.

Before a bill is being passed, it goes through a process, when the PIA bill was going through those.processes, where were these noise makers?
where was Ovie Omo Agege? he can steal.mace from the house for a northerner but can't bring a good legislation to his region.

Where was Edwin Clark who was busy rantiing about Biafra when his God given resources are being stolen from him?
Interestingly, Timipre Silva is the Minister of State for Petroleum and he is helping coordinate the implementation of this rape against his region which is likely to go on for generations

Akpabio is busy looting his own in NDDC and doesn't care about the stealing ongoing in his backyard.

Where was Asari Dokubo that is busy chasing Nnamdi Kanu?
Where was Tompolo? Oh, I forgot, he is busy counting the dollars Akpabio sent to him recently, that he did not realise such a critical bill is being passed.

Where was Ayari Emari?

Where is Even Goodluck Jonathan, I saw him.yesterday in Yusuf's wedding dining with the northerners.

Enyinnaya Abaribe stood up against this daylight robbery against the region but unfortunately democracy is a game numbers.

Now they are coming to disturb our peace. They should all go and continue drinking ogogoro as that's the only thing that seems important to them.

Best Comment on the thread. Ovie omo agege own dey make me laugh I swear grin

He know how to steal mace for fulani man but he can't bring good legislation to his region grin

That PIA is a big slap on our face, collectively as a people of southern extraction and it is a very bold step by the north to prevent us from owning and controlling our destinies through the use of our God - given resources. I expected Niger delta boys to have reacted immediately that evil bill was quickly signed into law by the highly nepotistic fulani tribal lord in aso rock. Some pipelines up in flames would have sent a powerful message to the king of the north in aso rock that we reject that bill in its entirety.

It is a shame that we still allow those useless and very corrupt polithiefcians who betrayed us in Abuja to be walking freely among us as if all is well ! We are just too gullible in this part of the world. If one may ask, what holds do these vastly illiterates northerners have on us that we always dance to their tunes and allow them to oftentimes, dictate the direction our country will take to their own benefits ? Would there have been "One Nigeria" if the oil wells were located up north and belonged to these greedy northerners ?

Southerners need to wake up from their slumbers and get hold of their destinies for once. Northerners are not in any position to dictate to the people of the south. In actual fact ,it should be other way round because they (northerners) are the ones that depend on us for survival.

PIA is unacceptable and we won't respect it as a "law"; it is a fraud ! A northern coup actually against southern interests.

Oh it's now they re talking ....

What were they doing when mallams in the house were busy voting for the PIB.

Rubbish.

Meanwhile the military says:
The military is ready at all times to address the issue of security concerns. We have all it takes to ensure that the peace and stability enjoyed in the Niger Delta remains and keep everyone secured.

But yet they couldn't on fulani herdsmen.
Every sector in Government flex muscles down South. But the North who contributes nothing to the country now are there doing what they know best.

The Anioma youth forum is a toothless organization and they do not represent the Niger Delta, they just want to seek recognition and relevance.
Having said that,I want to say that Niger Delta representative in the upper Chambers are not truly representing their people but their personal interest.
They should be recalled and replaced with those that are ready to serve their people.

In as much as the PIA is concerned, I won't say nothing but apportion blame to our so called "REPRESENTATIVES" in the National Assembly who chose avarice and party loyalty over the common good of the people of the Niger Delta Region.

SHAME TO ALL WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THIS GRAVE INJUSTICE!

dialogue with them and increase that 3% to 5% then constitute an independent board that that will monitor and make sure the money is been used for it's purposes.
if you can budget 30% for oil exploration in the north, then you should increase the percentage of the host community from 3% to to 5%.
meanwhile most of our leaders representing us in the green and red chambers are mofos and slaves to the northerners.
