Ikorodu area is a den of ritualists, occultists, traditional devil worshippers and skull mining criminals. I can't stay in that area even if you give me a free mansion. Tueh!

In a normal clime, rotten corpse can never prevent investigation, in fact, the worms will be used to estimate the time of death and the case will never be closed until truth has been established!

In Ikorodu it could be cult related(rival gang cult settling scores ) or debt related issue(Some people are very heartless with words and action when their creditors come to get their money and would rather use the money to go to court so as to waste time and frustrate Creditor than to pay back), ritual Killings (wealth charm ),woman matter (sleeping with married woman or girlfriend of another that is very jealous )or business deal matters(cheating and scamming ). With proper investigation the police should be able to unravel the real cause.
Police could have killed him and dumbed his corpse there.
Well, you cannot do any investigation without forensic autopsy. Idealy, forensic Pathologists should be in the scene of accident before body is moved.

You are right ,a bad cop could have killed the man or perhaps he was a criminal that got killed by members of his gang over some issue. But with the forensic pathologist done on time it could help unravel the mystery.

The Nigerian Police force should have a department of Forensic anthropology. This department studies decomposing corpse to identify the individual and ascertain the cause of death.
God help 9ja.

But the police could not remove the corpse because of health reasons. So, the police alerted the health workers from the Lagos State Ministry of Health...

So work no easy oooo so police are scared of their health.. that's why dem call health workers..

The man's identity can be identified by DNA and forensic analysis.

Even the period of time he was dump there can be guessed so they can ask people to say movement they noticed that period

There is another lifeless body at maza maza first gate.
They should go and pack it too.

Nigeria has become a country where human lives are worthless.
