"I'm heartbroken, devastated" -Lancelot mourns persistent philanthropist Capt Hosa Okubor The death of Edo State-born business mogul and Chairman of Ocean Marine Solution (OMS) Limited, Chairman Wells Entertainment Ltd and Feva TV Canada, Captain Hosa Okunbor at age 63, shocked the nation. The death of the loveable philanthropist who died of pancreatic cancer in London few days ago is still fresh in our hearts, most especially in the heart of one of his godsons and beneficiary of his philanthropic gestures, Ambassador Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, a notable Nollywood Director and African's most consistent movie maker. Ambassador Imasuen who was putting finishing touches to his latest multimillion blockbuster movie 'Gbege' when the news of Captain Hosa Okubor's death broke out, is the Chief Executive Office, CEO of Wells Entertainment Ltd and the Executive Director of Feva TV, Canada, the two companies that late Captain Hosa Okubor was the Chairman. In his devasted state of mind, Lancelot Imasuen decided to write an 'epic letter to mourn the demise of this one of the greatest philanthropist to have lived.' During a chat with Omonaijablog.com today, Imasuen who has been devasted and heartbroken since the news filtered in to the country from London said; "He is one of the greatest earthly loss to me personally, but i remain grateful to God for a great life of impact he lived and the so many life's he touched. For two weeks I have been so broken, devastated and dumb over his demise." See the unedited epic he wrote to mourn late Captain Hosa Okubor; There was a duel between the heavens and the earth Both in dire need of a certain captain of Souls Men held on while the pearly gates were opened Both sides wanted him whole Men in their numbers pleaded and wished there was a price they could pay The host of angels insisted that the earth was no longer a place he could stay The negotiations continued One side had to win the prize A higher authority made a tough call in the middle of the banter and cries The alarm bells had been rung The flight engines came alive And up up he went Away from all troubles and strife To a place of eternal life and peace The heavens had won And only left behind a lifeless piece The bell rang so loudly People became deaf with grief Without warning and without consent Death came like a thief The bells rang so loudly Known aurators became dumb Shockwaves were sent down their spines Their hearts became numb The steppers who depended on the rhythm of his heart beat Suddenly lost the urge to dance Loved once prayed for his eyes to pop open Perhaps he was caught in a trance But he wasn't... A dark cloud covered the earth Holding potential for an out pour of a hundred years But in this case it wasn't water The earth itself let down tears Washing away the hopes of ever seeing him again There was a duel between the heavens and the earth The heavens had won..Alas Captain Hosa Wells Okunbo is taken by the Heavens... Ambassador Imasuen also added that; "As a direct benefitary of his magnanimity I remain eternally grateful to him even in death and pray God for his children, immediate family members for God guidance and protections."
