The 2011 Elections have come and gone.As usual in Nigerian politics,now is the pay back time where the godfathers and the nations economic looters are hovering arround Jonathan for ministerial positions,cabinet membership of all types,contracts, financial returns,etc.If Jonathan can take a bold step,ignore all these looters,robbers(godfathers) and distractors and select competent personalities based on merit,like Chris Ngige did when he was the governor of Anambra State,Nigeria will be transformed.The story of Dr.Chris Ngige is a lenghty one and all cannot be mention here,but this is a man that has vowed to sacrifice his life and liberate Anambra State from the evil hand of godfathers/looters that have hold Anambra State in bondage for long.Other past governors as soon as they were 'selected' will write an agreement and take an oath(Shrine) with the godfathers on the billions of naira that will be depositing into their personal accounts as well as projecting their candidates for appointments,whether competent or not.Chris Ngige came and vowed that no 'kobo' can be channeled to godfathers/looters account,not even a compensation let alone allowing anybody to dictate the people that will work with him in his cabinet,rather he will transform Anambra state.That was how the political war between him and the almighty popular billionaire godfather called Chris Uba started in 2003/2004.Nobody believe that Ngige can get a big heart to confront the mighty Chris Uba who works hand in hand with Obasanjo,but he overcome and subdued two of them and other sycophants who have been milking Anambra State dry.Even when Chris Uba and Obasanjo detached all the security men of Ngige to ensure if he can be eliminated,Ngige was moving without security,yet he overcome them.While all these battle were going on,he was working and developing the state,using all the money in transforming the state.Chris Uba and Obasanjo later give up,having known that Ngige is a no-go area and indeed unbeatable.Today,Ngige is enjoying the fruits of his labour.He is the most popular politician in Anambra State.It is very difficult for him not to win any political office he want to aspire in Anambra State.Good name is better than money.At present,he is the ACN Senator elect of Anambra Central,not becuase of his money,its all about good name and record and for taking a bold steps in breaking the jink of godfatherism/looters of economy and work for Anambra State.Can Jonathan follow this step and transform Nigeria,now that he is about to appoint people that will work with him,or will he allow himself to be teleguided by the cabals,godfathers,treasury looters,corrupt
evil old men,etc,while this country will continue to be plunged into a mess?
