Afghanistan is member of the world body UN. But the current government on ground has been designated as a terrorist group, and has been at war with the us for over two decades. To cut a long story short, the UN general assembly is around the corner. It seems from reactions around the world, that the world has come to accept that the Taliban is the legitimate government in Afghanistan, even though not officially. I make ref to a recent situation down here in Africa where the military took over power from a democratic government. The whole international community condemned it with sanctions flying left right and center. Even here gej was sent as an envoy by buhari government to that country and the au was to match into that country with Nigeria at the front to force them to return power to civilians. Now fast forward to Afghanistan. When will the UN and international community mobilise and match into Afghanistan to force them out? Recently an African president was facing defeat in an election he refused to hand over. The au, un, eu etc came barking down his throat to hand over. As if these organisations were founded a month prior to the election. Where were all these organisations in 1993 when a certain man cancelled the freest election in the guy-ant of Africa. ? So bact to the initial question, will the us and the international community sit in a UN general assembly with the Taliban, in whatever form that meeting takes place. ? And I'm certain the UN is not the only int. Association that Afghanistan is part of. How will the world cope
