Good evening guys. Pls I have questions which I'm hoping u can advise on: 1 - The agent that filled my wife's visa application form put wrong names for her parent (father's) names. My wife has now travelled safely to the UK and my son and I are about to apply to join her as dependants. I was advised to leave this error and correct it when we have arrived and are applying for new sponsorship (her current UK skilled visa expires in 16months) or later when we're applying for ILR. Pls what do u advise? 2. In chasing my son and I's Dependant Application, I'm assuming we still need to show proof of maintenance funds (£600 for us both) even tho maintenance for herself and family was ticked on her CoS but she's been there for about 8weeks now and we're only just abt joining her. 3. Is there need for proof of adequate accommodation using maybe Council tax (which she has in her name) to support our dependants application? Thanks in advance for suggestions/opinions. |

Jugunoo:I am interested in how you intend to convince UKBA that your agent made a mistake and you repeated the same mistake too. My advise is not to complicate your issue for yourself. It's not the end of the world. |

Pearlyfaze: Check your rent contract properly, most I know is 6 month termination period with a month notice both ways (from you or from LL). Unless, yours is different I also think You should be able to move house with your energy and Wi-Fi contracts. 1 Like |

Thank you everyone for advising us on this issue. To answer some questions raised. 1. Taxi fare is commuting to and fro work to the new location. 2. Her Employer is a Private Healthcare Provider with over 130 Carehome across the UK. Not an NHS. Her Union Requested for the contract and the Notice of transfer and RESPONDED THUS: The contract has broad mobility clause in it. The stated reason for this particular transfer is Redundancy as a Result of shutting down the Nursing Unit of the Carehome. My worries on this Redundancy cum shutting down the Nursing Unit is this. 1. You transferred her 6 months ago knowing that the home has been struggling for years. 2. You told her on the 2nd of this month about shutting down the Nursing Unit and transfer to another city within the next 26 days. I appreciate all the help i have gotten on this and others still going to chip in on this. |

AlphaUno: I will check with my Energy supplier and wifi. We pay rent 3 monthly upfront payments. Currently, the one we have paid will expire January 8. We are supposed to pay again by January 9 for 3 months till April 8. I will check the contract and speak with the letting agent too by nexg week. |

Lexusgs430: @risingstar2022 this is the best advice for you. You may check charity shops but I doubt the prices will be significantly different from what you’d get on eBay for a brand new one. On eBay you can check for klieninteriors and get something in the or less than £100 range (for a double) , and then add a mattress topper from Aldi or somewhere for like 15 to add some more comfort. 6 Likes 6 Shares |

olaadegoke47: Hi, my personal experience and advise. I would advice you to keep checking those major 5 comparison sites, you will definitely get. I tried to get an insurance for my car 1.6l engine, I was seeing quoted of or minimum of - 2400 and later I was able to get 1,088 at the end of the 3rd day of searching all sites around 11pm at night. At a point I almost pay for those one with black box at 1500, but the review online was bad and I waited and I later got a best deal at 1088£. Just keep searching. Got it from Quotezone 7 Likes 4 Shares |

Pearlyfaze: I think if you really want to move away from the company you will. How much is too much for mental health? However, I have heard of nurses changing their sponsors, and the new sponsor pays the penalty for leaving the previous employer. This makes sense because nurses are in huge demands. So, let your wife interview with other employers, then ask them if they are willing to pay the penalty fee. 1 Like |

Should Suella succeeds in inciting the public against legal immigrants, Rishi should be squarely blamed. He knows the right thing to do - get rid of the controversial dark soul he appointed. Extremist Right-wing induced attacks have started spiking, putting everyone (legal or illegal) in the same pot 1 Like 1 Share |
