Shocking: See Leaked Documents Of Imo Anti-grazing Law (Photos)


Yesterday, the Nigerian media space was awash with news that the Governor of Imo State, Governor Hope Uzodimma had pulled out of the agreement of the Southern Governors to ban open grazing.

This piece of propaganda, orchestrated by the opposition PDP in the state spread like wildfire. Blogs and online media outlets jumped on the fake news, giving it massive attention.

This is coming on the heels of the lingering clashes between farmers and cattle herders. A situation that has caused the loss of uncountable lives and property.

Nigerian News Daily has obtained and published a copy of the documents of the Imo State Anti-grazing Law.

The Imo State Law Number 9 of 2006 (Imo State Prohibition of Grazing of Restricted Areas) was signed into law in 2007.

This law which was signed by former PDP Governor Achike Udenwa has not been repealed been tampered with.

The law contains items such as:

''Rearing of Cattle's on the streets, main roads, residential and commercial places....in Imo State is hereby prohibited''.

''A cattle rearer shall not take his cattles into cultivated farms in Imo State.''

I'm not surprised that Hope Uzodinma is disgracing himself like this, saying that there was no existing anti-grazijg law. Does his wife not advise him? He's looking for troubles.

After all, nobody voted for him. How can a man who finished fourth suddenly becomes first without the Supreme Court showing us the margins (proof) he used to beat the rest of the contestants?

How come the National Judicial Council didn't sanction the justices that thwarted the choice of Imo people? Hope Uzodinma is beginning to show his true colors.

He should know that no man can finish a meal that the general public prepared for him, no matter how delicious it may be

The reality is that the functionality of a law depends on the willingness or the unwillingness of its practitioners.

This law was enacted in 2006, Obasanjo that is claiming saint now couldn't find a permanent solution back then. Today he's accusing Buhari of favouring the herdsmen over other Nigerians.
