If they are billionaires let them use their wealth and invest in the stadium and football. Pique in FCB is doing something similar in Spain . He just bought the right to broadcast French League one matches in Spain.
They can partner with the government and before you know it, football will be run by private individuals as it is done abroad. Our football clubs and stadia are owned by states' government whereas in Europe the business is run by business men

I don't think you know the country you are.

When is Super Eagles going to do away with this Rohr of a coach? Super Eagles with all the many super starts can't play positive football talkles of winning convincingly.

After being used to watching EPL & other quality matches, watching this match is pure torture.
Does it mean we can't get a good quality pitch in this country

The stadium is TERRIBLE dem go laugh us die

They should have left this thing for Uyo that stadium is 100 times better than Lagos stadium

politics in Football will kill us, why take it away from good developed nice world class Uyo for nothing because Tinubu or who says so

The best stadium, most well kept stadium which the players and coach themselves like should host it not one politician in a hospital in UK to decide they should play wherever he likes that's b.s

Private nigeria channels ain't bad per say though, it's just this goverment owned station that are bad.

Nigerian goverment hardly upgrade thats their problem, some years back when we still use anthenas and our tv set are usualy in 4:3 aspect ratio watching a broadcast in 420p wont be bad infact it will be norm, but the world has move on, majority of the viewer no longer watch content in 4:2(square) device again instead 16:1(rectangle)e.g plasma, smart phones, laptops etc.. Since the world have move on the goverment too should move on shikenan.. Less i forget T.V.C channel quality beats adjazeera hands down and it's a nigerian channel although private.

This is an easy group for us. It's almost like automatic ticket to world cup
I can't see Cape Verde, Liberia and Central African Republic taking first place from Nigeria . It will be difficult

My sugestion for nta.

Get a sony fx6 x3.

Get a sigma art len x3.

Get a blackmagic atemis transmiter x1.

Get a dji mavic air 2 x1.

3 Camera cost= $18k

3 Lens cost = ~$2k

1 Blackmagic atemis=$2k

1 dji mavic air 2=$700

Total=$22,700.

To naira maybe 10-11 million naira.

N.T.A is that too much for you?

My freelancing gear is worth more than that. Just my Red epic w is $25,000, i havnt even add money for lens, steadicam etc. Nigeria please improve.

LOL You're still on client side. Let's focus on server side now,

HD broadcast from your Sony FX6 x3 -780p
Average data cap 1hr clip at 780p ~ 0.9GB
Match time - 2hrs (max) ~ 1.8GB
Estimated streaming devices ~ 10M screens
Data cost per 1GB on MainONE ~ $0.42 per GB
Estimated overall cost for 1 match ~ $7,560,000

I didn't include cost of operations, logistics and depreciation. Broadcasting to a large audience no be beans. Unless NTA opens up its platform to serious businesses for sponsorship, 100 years from now, the quality of NTA broadcast will still be the same.

The money for NTA HD conversion contract had been shared between the Communication Ministers and NTA DGs over the years.

So expect no improvement soon.
