Were you not in Nigeria when A B U refused to give a student that scored 300 plus in jamb admission?I've seen a situation where A B U refused to give a student that scored 270 admission to study law and she is from kaduna state,I scored 225 in 2015 jamb but I was denied admission to study law despite coming from one of their catchment area.as difficult as it is to get admission in unilorin a guy got admission with 184 so you guys should stop all these useless comment just to get likes and share on nairaland it's fvcking annoying 1 Like 1 Share |

You see the north are not in competition with anyone but simply wants to make live simple for their people. Unlike the south that is always competing with it's shadows just to mock and showoff but keeps making live miserable for it's citizens. Ikpeyi: Butter is not monkey's food. Western education is not the desire of the people from the north. Stop deceiving yourselves....most of those schools are federal school establishment and I can bet my 2 balls., the standard of those schools are lowered for the sake of all these Kunnu drinking students..... A BSc graduate in the north is equivalent to a diploma student in the south. Most best performing students in abroad comes from the south either Igbo or Yoruba.. We know also that Aboki people also send their kids abroad, so, why are they not being mentioned among the best-performing students abroad? It is because there is not a quota system, no favoritism, no nepotism....it is always strictly by merit... the north federal employees working in various federal establish are one of the reasons the service delivery is not improving because it will be hard for a lot of them to cope if the standard is raised beyond what they can control...so, they prefer to maintain the status quo for their people to maintain the top echelon positions. I dare all federal parastatal to start conducting their promotion exams online...then, you will see mass retrogression and stagnation of northern employees.. Keep. Controlling your wilderness region with all sorts of dumb brains at the top while we keep investing more in raising the standard of education in the south... |

The fact you or the person denied admission if that ever happened sef, should tell you it's not because of the score but an underground profiling that was involved Many southernerns with low jamb scores pack enmass to the north Nothing special there |
