That's not possible! The mars they going to now is just next to the earth and will take seven months to reach. The farther we have gone is venus and may take years to get there. The satellite that eventually reach saturn has been on the journey since 1977. All the planets I mentioned are very closed to earth if you look at the solar system. And we have billions of stars in our solar system. Millions of years to this time, there is no certainty that we will ever move close to the middle of our galaxy no matter the technology let alone the end of it. Many scientific pictures and conclusion are just fiction and gues.

A computer not so much, I had a 7 year old hp laptop that died last year, the PCB was fried due to years of being a desktop and overheating from a clogged fan. Not once did it break before then.
The cause of degradation in computer circuits are usually related to power (being turned on and off, or a surge), and temperature (overheating). If these are controlled then I don't see why it wouldn't last up to 40 years.
