The interior of a 2001 Civic is far asthetically pleasing than that of a 2008 camry. Was in a 2014 Corolla recently and dash looked like something from 1996. Radio display looked like those tiny size Casio Calculator display. Worst part was the door knob. Felt very plastic and inferior. I had to check again when i alighted if it indeed was a 2014 Corolla.

Your comparison of the interior of a 2014 corolla to something of 1996 is plain ridiculous. Total trash. You must have bad taste.

Abeg look am again then go back to 1996!

Please I currently have the 2013 Camry xle thumb start, I bought it in 2019 and honestly I haven’t had any problem with it, I am currently thinking of an upgrade. I want to upgrade to 2019 Camry or 2019 honda touring. Please I need your honest advice. The Camry is really a boring car, but it is very reliable. Below is a picture of my Camry. Please advise.
Thanks
Hello Oliver80, how can I contact you for a discussion about the Camry? I'm interested. Thanks.

Regarding your post, 2019 Honda Accord Touring is a beast on wheels, but I think it will guzzle more fuel compared to 2019 Camry (. This should be of less concern to you because I do believe that anyone that can buy a 2019 Touring with all its luxury shouldn't make fuel consumption a priority, else you go for the Regular Version. Find below comparison for fuel consumption;

You can be the judge. At least pictures don't lie.

Compare 08 Camry and 01 civic dashboard

Don't let me even bring night time illumination of the dashboard instruments into this discussion.
You didn't do the Camry justice obviously

You know nothing about cars.

Even on Carsurvey.com, all American voted the Accord over the Camry.
Have you driven the accord before?
The camry is a joke compared to that Accord

laiza:
The Honda has better fuel efficiency but durability and speed the Toyota 2014 is the best. It was designed for better performance than the previous model and it was specifically made in the year Japan was hosting drag racing tournament. That car brain box has 14 pins, it is not just a car, that is a machine. But if you can't maintain it best go for the Honda because it costs a lot to maintain and be mindful of the wheels of the Honda as all Honda cars have that problem.

You see this Honda, na fine car ooo!

But think about the maintenance first bro. Its expensive to maintain from what I know.
I have never been a fan of Toyota. I nvr use toyota for my life. But i presently want to sell my Mazda SUV and get a toyota so i can have peace of mind.
Maintenance for other cars in Nigeria sucks. Nor be say the money nor dey, but i nr come dis life to maintain only motor.

You can't conclude that 1mpg difference means fuel guzzling. 5miles difference is nothing compared to the satisfaction of driving a performance car. I will certainly not drive a boring car just to get a 5mile advantage on a full tank. Same way i will certainly not buy a car for a ridiculous myth in "resale value".

Secondly, the Accord Touring is comparable to the Camry V6.

As someone who has used both cars, I consider myself more than qualified to respond from a user standpoint.

Camry 2012-14
(Pros)
1. Soft suspension, less bumpy ride ( Lexus like)
2. Fast passing power at cruising speed
3. Very reliable
4. Okay fuel economy

Cons
1. Less responsive acceleration from stop
2. Lackluster handling and driving dynamics
3. Confusing infotainment system especially the Bluetooth connection and blurry screen
4. Boring interior (I had the XLE)

Honda Accord 2013-15
(Pros)
1. Fast acceleration from stop
2. Quality and more luxurious interior (EXL)
3. Excellent fuel economy and even better with the ECON button available in all options.
4. Good infotainment system, clearer and more user friendly screen
5. Better safety features like the blindspot camera which is soooo important in Lagos. Lol

Cons.
1. Harsher ride and suspension(You feel more road bumps than the Camry)
2. More road noise especially at cruising speed
3. Slightly less reliable than the Camry

NB: I sold the Camry and bought the Accord. I was never in tune with the Camry as a driving enthusiast. The Accord is a match made in Japan.
My wife and Dad prefer the Camry.
This is my honest opinion cos they’re both excellent cars.

Excellent report. That particular Honda accord fuel efficiency is mad. With eco button. Even the sport is economy. The acceleration and engine responses with the sound of the exhaust when you step down on the pedal gives you that feeling. If you love cars. You will definitely love the accord. The balance, the engine response when you revolve from zero can make your babe wet. Oh mily my oh my... I'm definitely buying this accord.
