First of all, I think GLK starts from 2010 not 2008.
Secondly, buy a car you can easily maintain. I presently use a Mazda SUV. Cool car, but the problem is that when something gets bad, and they call prize for you, u go fear. By Gods grace, I can afford the maintenance but nor be only t maintain car I come dis life come do. The engine of my car cost 750k(with the turbo charger).
I am thinking of selling it and getting a simple Toyota. I initially thought of selling and getting a GLK, but my mechanic laughed when i told him. He said na fry pan to fire in terms of maintenance o.

So bro, I advice that you get a simple car that you wont start crying later. Even if you are capable of maintenance, there are other important things u can channel the money to. U nr come dis life to dey maintain only motor.

This 2 cars have no reason for comparison. Firstly The Glk350 debuted in 2009/2010 not 2008 and based on modern looks, updated features and model updates it should be rather compared to the newer Rx350 2010 which is abit overpriced for funny and unknown reasons.

That said if u must compare the Rx350 2008 and Glk350 2009 I think the Glk stands out in more areas except peace on mind cos u need to maintain it properly. The Rx350 2008 is supposed to give u more peace of mind which it should bt it’s more economical version the Rx330 2006(Rx350 debuted in 2007) will give u similar features and better economy with its smaller v6 engine.

Dollar is 525 now ooo. buying a good 2008 rx350 in US now is on average 8k dollars, shipping and custom would make it hit 11k (almost 6m) like wise a 2009 Glk is averagely 10k dollars with shipping and custom we are at 7m already. This are likely cost of getting it to Nigeria market and you dont expect those investment to go without profit.... I m an importer, that is the authentic you can work with.

I was out hunting 2012 ML350 yesterday, the minimum I got was 11.5m and its repaired accident car, clean ones hits 13m
