So you expect us to have the same appointment as you?

Whats your total population

The North is far bigger in land mass & population than the South.
It has the highest number of states & local governments.
The North has some of the most powerful governors, senators, federal appointees, politicians both serving & retired in Nigeria.
The North also has the richest men & biggest captains of industry in Nigeria.
It has the highest number of military Generals both serving & retired.
The North equally has its fair share of reknown & accomplished academics in Nigeria & abroad in foreign universities.
It has reknown religious scholars & fiery clerics as well as its fair share of unrepentant religious fundamentalists, radicals, hoodlums, criminals & terrorists.

So the North has some of the most powerful governors, senators, federal appointees, politicians both serving & retired in Nigeria?

What makes a governor or a Senator or a Federal appointee or politician powerful ?

All what you have written so far is nonsense. This is why the South will go. You are an ingrate .You can never change. OBJ did not know you people. I know increment of Derivation to 13% and abolition of Onshore and offshore dichotomy can only be possible under OBJ.

All these falsehood and manipulation just because of VAT?

Honestly I see his write up as a Sarcasm, you should have ignored him. His paymasters were all afraid of splitting the country . He should first ask them the reason behind one Nigeria by force. All what he stated were false information, visit the MDAs Notherners/Foolanis dominates the offices. With This VAT issue I now see more reasons this current evil govt might deliberately want to extend Northerner tenure constitutionally or illegally.

LET US VOMIT OUT THE SOUTHERN HOOK, LINE AND SINKER

Northern Nigeria has more graduates and Professors than South Africa. The real problem is not as Southerners paint it and you echo it like empty halls.

Practically, millions of Northerners are either unemployed, misemployed, or underemployed. Our problem is our chances are blocked and our resources dominated by Southerners who paint the wrong picture for fools to believe them.

75% of  government spending is connered by Southerners via the domination of salary earning, contracts, projects, bail outs and other interventions. Trade and industries are dominated by Southerners who have easy access to multi billion credit facilities courtesy their domination of state financial structure and instruments and institutions.

Every ministry is dominated by them. All our markets are monopolized by them due to their control of capital that enable them to finance business and take more risk due to ease of acces to money. They conrol their markets by regular disruptuons of our businesses officially and by direct frequent violence unofficially. Their control of and easy access to liquidity enable them to be more enerprising business wise. They buy our goods cheap and sell theirs exorbitantly.

To preserve the exploitative status quo they spread false verson of the reality. They centralize oil as the main source of wealth so that our attention will be far away from other sources of wealth they dominate.

Oil is less than 10% of  Nigeria's GDP. They tell us we are the parasite and we are lazy and we are uneducated to instil a sense of guilt, self hate and inadequacy in us. We swallow all these falsehood uncritcally because we made our source of daily information their media and books. They over concentrate on our weaknesses and ignore almost completely their own weaknesses. An average Southerner having mild cold will almost by default blame it on Northerners and will not lack northerners who "speak the truth" to agree with him.

How can uneducated people have multitude of unemployed graduates? How can lazy people be producig the food of the nation? Why do millions of Southerners troop to the poor parasitic North and refuse leave? The south said so and it is?

What we need is a  political economic solution. We must take control of our local markets, our institutions and our businesses in their land must be given due attention and protection and any act of disruption by way of constant destruction must be paid back in due measure without listening to their victimship outcries. They fear separation more than us because their weak economic foundation, especially the west entirely dependent on controlling  government resources.

We must ask and take our fair share of every government employment at whatever cost. No people has ever prospered when their resources, oppurtunities and chances are blocked and dominated by others.  Our constant preachment of peace must stop: justice and and equity must be our new slagon.

The real problem is believing in the propaganda of the enemies which saps our resourcefulness and infuse our senses with feelings of backwardness that really do not exist, or are caused by false perception. The greatest defeat one can suffer is to see oneself as projected by one's enemies.

Almajiri is system suffocated by lack of finance. Poverty is a direct result of economic domination and exclusion. Degrees are not unavailable. Marrying four wives will not stop as it is never a problem but a great social system. Once we assert control on what is rightly ours, that self concious timidity will evaporate and be replaced by confidence and bold enterprise. Up to the Seventies we were the richest people in Africa. As the central government grows and  takes control of resources our wealth progressively dwindles. As the southerners intensify drums of hate and aggression we draw back to give peace, that is never forthcoming, a chance.

Try asking for propotionate representation in all government employment in all institutions and at all levels, they will cry out about mediocrity supplanting merit as if those half literates southerners dominating the place are Einstein incanates. Or they will blackmail you with Islamization.

Try treating their traders in our markets as they treat ours and they will cry xenophobia as if the regular denial of market space, heavy taxation, constant disruption of business and officially sanctioned harrassment of our traders in their land does not exist.

Try replacing Southern union leaders and foreign sponsored NGOs operating in the North with our own people and they will start wailing about marginalization.

Well, their era of dominance and false propaganda is coming to an end with the coming of age of young northerners who could no longer accept marginalization because of blackmail or threat. These new bold Northern youth have seen how southerners cowered when asked to leave the North two years ago. Their cries for secession are empty ruse.

We will be better off without them and they will definitely be worse off without us. They know we lack nothing, while their millions selling substandard, fake good, drugs and inrdinately high interest bank loans fleecing the north and feeding on cheap food and services will have nothing on returning back home. Their franchise firms and industries will lose over 100 million costumers overnight which is more than their home market demand.

Soon we will ask for equity or call it quit. We know who we are and we know our strength.

It pained me so much that after several explanations, several analysis, most of you didn't understand me. Nigeria to an Hausa Fulani man is the North. Nigeria is not a country but Northern Interest. Once you oppose Northern Interest, then, it is assumed you oppose Nigeria.

6 years of Southerners, Christians & their Clergy preaching Islamization agenda but they have steadily built more & bigger mega churches complete with schools in the North since then!
6 years of Southerners & Christians making political capital out of the sponsored insecurity in the North but they have steadily acquired more properties, built bigger & more successful businesses including farms since then in the North!!

By Dr Joe Abah - DG, Bureau of Public Service
Reforms". (C): Johnson Andrew, this is the Analyzed data based on population figures of each state.
From the wall of Akin Omoz-Oarhe:
THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF PUBLIC SERVICE REFORMS, RELEASED STATISTICS OF EMPLOYMENTS INTO OUR PUBLIC SERVICE.
THE RAW FIGURES PER STATE ARE ALL OVER FACEBOOK.
THIS GOT MY ORIENTAL BROTHERS TALKING AGAIN. KNOWING THAT NOT SO MANY LIKE FIGURES, I HAVE TRIED TO TIDY THEM UP FOR EASE OF UNDERSTANDING.
(A). EMPLOYMENT INTO THE PUBLIC SERVICE
NE with a population of 19.0m has 7,793
NW with a population of 35.8m has 8,806
SE with a population of 16.4m has 16,540
NC with a population of 20.3m has 17,661
SS with a population of 21.0m has 18,038
SW with a population of 27.6m has 19,620
To appreciate this figures, it is necessary to find out how many employees are taken from every 1 million people in each of the geographical zones.
The result is:
1st. SE has 1,009 Employees per million
2nd. NC has 970 Employees per million
3rd. SS has 859 Employees per million
4th SW has 711 Employees per million
5th NE has 410 Employees per million
6th NW has 246 Employees per million
Here we can see that South Eastern Zone has over 1000 people engaged in the public service of Nigeria in every 1 million Igbo people, whereas only 246 people are engaged in North West!
Remember that this is the Zone of the President of Nigeria. Curiously South West, the Zone of the Vice President is the least in Southern Nigeria with the employment of 711 people in a million.
It is pertinent to see the trend as regards Political Office holders. Probably, those that lost out in the Public Service, are compensated with Political offices. Let's perform sample surgical operation on the political employees.
( . POLITICAL APPOINTEES
We all have the statistics of political appointees of the current Buhari administration.
NW has 51political appointees from 7 states
NC has 47 political appointees from 6 states
NE has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SW has 45 political appointees from 6 states
SS has 45 political appointees from 6 States
SE has 41 political appointees from 5 states
These translate to:
1st. SE: 2.50 appointees in a million.
2nd. NE: 2.37 appointees in a million.
3rd. NC: 2.34 appointees in a million.
4th. SS: 2.14 appointees in a million.
5th. SW:1.63 appointees in a million.
6th. NW:1.42 appointees in a million.
Alternatively:
1st. SE: has 1 appointee in every 400,000
2nd. NE: has 1 appointee in every 422,000
3rd. NC: has 1 appointee in every 427,000
4th. SS: has 1 appointee in every 467,000
5th. SW: has 1 appointee in every 614,000
6th. NW: has 1 appointee in every 704,000
Once again topping the list of beneficiary is South East with one political appointee for every 400,000 people. As if it is an intentional act, NW, from where the President hails has the least of 1 political appointees for every 704, 000 people while the figure for Osinbajo's Zone is 614,000 and is the least in the South.
THIS IS NOT MY DEFINITION OF "MARGINALIZATION" BEING PEDDLED BY THE IGBOS THAT ARE, IN FACT THE BIGGEST BENEFICIARY IN NIGERIA. FIGURES DON'T LIE.

What makes me laugh is when i see some Yoruba crying for the Igbos when the latter talk about Marginalization. They should be crying for themselves.

grin grin grin grin grin grin. I painstakingly read all the bullshit you typed up there and I've come to conclusion that you are just another noisy northerner trying to overstate your importance. If you are really that confident that you all can do without the south, why are you guys afraid of the referendum. You keep typing trash about how you are accommodating southerners in the north, if you are that confident about it, let the north declare secession and watch the entire south jump in jubilation.
You are giving the illusion that the impression the south have about you guys is false whereas, it's the goddamn truth. Economic dominance lies with the south of Nigeria you northerners only seem to have political dominance no thanks to the military dictators that favour you guys and the infighting between Igbos and Yoruba. Any your political dominance is coming is to an end thanks to Democracy that came in 1999.
Once again, you feel the north is vibrant. I double-dare you to ask your elite to initiate moves for secession. Your Elite dare not try it. It's their worst nightmare. Even your Sultan, Sanusi has said should Nigeria divide, north will be the poorest region in the world.

Arewa shall not be a tribal nation or a theocratic dogmatists nation like Biafra or Odua. Arewa is a modern nation of nations were Hausa, Fulani, Angas, Yoruba, Igbo, Jarawa, Kanuri, Nupe, white men, yellow men and black men coexist.
Arewa is not a crusader nation like Biafra where those who do not practice the state religion will be killed and chased out.
Arewa Republic is not ethnocentric like Odua where if a man does not bear Yoruba name is seen as a half human to be subjected to descrimination and set to be killed by elite sponsored tribal terrorists like Odua or cursed to die in the Lagoon by a tribal chief
That is why we have half-Yoruba man as the Emire of Kano, the biggestst Kingdom in Hausaland. That is why Arewa was led in war during the Civil War by an Angas Christian, Yakubu Gawon. That is why the xenophobic tribalsts of the west and the end time black crusaders of the east hate us and are doing their best to divide us and conquer.
Come what may, we shall remain the richest in terms of resources and the largest in terms of population in Africa, Arewa is the heart of Africa. This is why the malevolent envious ones want to see it in chaos. We shall surmout the current troubles and emerge strong. We are the Phoenix that always emerges renewed from the ashes of conflagration.
We have demonstrated our capacity to uphold minority rights despite the constants instigations of the minority by the tribo-religious extremists of the South. We shall in our independent nation secure human rights, religious freedom, minority rights, cultural autonomy and we shall efface the faces of induced terrorists. Let the bakwarward tribalists and neo-crusaders die of envy. It is a quetion of time and men of my vision to take over leadership. It is written and shall it be.

But your 'inclusive' arewa is the same place barbers cannot give haircut in peace, beer bottles are broken because your 'hospitable' Hausa/Fulani's religion doesn't like it. Is the same region that cheats every other region in promotions and appointments in the public service. Is the region that forced Gbajamiala to turn Muslim overnight before he can get speaker position, the same region that decide which officers get to general in the army or not, the same region that insist all FCT ministers must be Muslim. The region that insist kogi, nasarawa and Niger governors must be Muslim whether they are minority or not. Even yeye stewpid bello was locked out of aso rock by kyari after they heard he allowed church to be built in kogi govt house. The same region that started the slaughtering of visitors right from 1966, so I'm confused young man which region you are talking about I hope I'm chatting with a kid?

"Muslims are terrible", they claim. "Muslims are terrorists" But I bet you, if you click the reaction to any bad symphatetic news report online, you will not find one Muslim reacting with a laughing emoji.
They are happy that terrorism and killings are taking place in the country they are happy that police officers are killed. They always showcase their attitudes of lack of manners and home training. These same people will on the next trend claim Islam is a religion of violence and Muslims are violent.
When you curse a person, the curse goes up to the heavens and return to you if the person is undeserving of it.

All the insults on Prophet Muhammad,(PBUH) the Muslim community received during the Boko Haram insurgency has gone up to the heavens and came back to those who cursed us and they have all gone mad.

3-4 year's ago, nobody would have thought that some people in the South-East would take up arms and start mindlessly killing people, cutting off heads and then come on social media to celebrate and laugh over it.

During the EndSARS uprising of fools, police officers were killed in the South, but in the East, they did not just kill officers, most of the ones they killed they mutilated and decapitated them thereafter. The only thing they did not do was to roast and eat them like the Sallah day massacre in Plateau in 2011 when some Plateau youths attacked worshippers on Eid day, killed, roasted and eat the dead bodies. It's just a matter of time, they will start eating the dead bodies of their victims as the curse spreads.

It does not matter your grievances with a person or a people, if evil befalls them you cannot afford to be happy about it. To be happy for evil makes you evil. I can say I hate the "State of Israel" because I consider it a racist and apartheid entity, but if calamity befalls its citizens, I can not be happy. Your hate should be measured.

Boko Haram became the monster it is not because Muslim scholars did not denounce their ideology, they did and some were killed for doing that.

The ideology of hate and bigotry in the South East is there mostly because Christian leaders in the country encouraged it with their anti-North and anti-Muslim sermons and conspiracy theories.
Hate should be measured
Muslim terrorist, 2021

The SE is better than any part of the North at any given time.
The officers killed innocent protesters; they had to go.

You took your time to analyse the dynamics of the market and yet failed to see the role technology will play in enabling all this sectors grow. If you can skip just this basic fact that itself destroys all your false calculations and it shows explicitly how Nigeria will be in big trouble in the next 100 years following your analysis.

If you fail to realize the potential of technology in just the nearest five years time and see how every industry will rely hugely on it, then I'm sorry to say fella, you are way behind the clock.

Ibkhaleel001:
The sectors that will contribute most to the GDP and create the most jobs and wealth to the Nigerian economy in the next 20, 30, 50 and 100 years are manufacturing, agriculture/food processing, construction/real estate, financial services. Tech won't be in the top 60 to 70%.
I took my time to study the dynamics of our socio-economic construct. Tech will remain what it is. An enabler. Much of the legacy systems and platforms have already been built. The United States leads the pack in the technology economy. Specifically Software, Internet and Media. Followed closely by China, who also leads the pack in hardware technology. The wealth creation indices speaks to their technological foundation. India has done well with developing human resource to service the top developed tech economies and ecosystems.
America is the only country where the wealthiest are from the tech industry (software, internet, media and hardware).
In China, according to the top 30 wealthiest ranking of 2021, only 33% are from tech. The remaining 66% are from Food, Pharmaceuticals, real estate, manufacturing.
Europe's biggest companies are in the fashion industry. They play big in infrastructure, automobile, retail, beverage and snacks. The biggest tech export out of Europe is SAP. A company that started in the 70s.
In India, the wealth of the richest comes from Pharmaceuticals (Drug and Vaccine manufacturing), Banking, Manufacturing (Cement and metal), Retail, Telecoms, Manufacturing, financial services and tech. Of course, tech is represented by HCL, which is one of the largest software services exporters in the world with presence I. Over 45 countries.
The sizes of wealth created by each industries is one of the easiest pointers to where the most economic opportunities can be developed.
Africa will miss it if it gets fixated and obsessed with technology to the detriment of the sizes of opportunities that other sectors represents, especially their relevance to our unique socio-economic construct.
We should pay more attention to areas of advantages that hold true economic potentials to create wealth and jobs beyond the hype.

If the North is as good as you present them, why are you people afraid of restructuring and separation. Rivers and Lagos states both sign VAT Law and the whole north are on knees, even Gombe state govt was appealing to South to be their brother's keeper.

The best economist say the market should pick winners and not government. You are trying to pick winners. It doesn't work.

Nollywood industry which employs at least 300,000 people would never have been picked by government neither would have been the music industry.

The best thing to do is to create the environment that encourages investment in areas of comparative advantage.

Low import duties on goods is a start and encouraging Foreign Direct Investment is the other.

Low import duties compels countries to focus on good and services they are good at because they if not, they will falter against imported ones. You don't have to be worried about foreign competition if you thrive in manufacturing it.

FDI usually flows into areas of the economy you have comparative advantage in. Despite the ban on cement for instance and the massive margins to be made manufacturing it here, foreign cement manufacturers haven't rushed in because the country has no comparative advantage in manufacturing it. If the import ban was lifted, cheap imported cemented would flood the country, adversely affecting the monstrous profit margins locals guys are making.

Bros, I want to have a discussion with you.
I would like to know more bout your ideologies.

Can you host a Facebook live, let's talk...or YouTube live session or zoom.

I want more people from different perspective to engage in a civil dialogue to share our differing opinions, to see from each other's point of view.

We all hold our sentimental views strongly.
Instead of being enemies, can we have a real-time discussion to unlearn, learn and relearn from each other...and show empathy to each person's mindset.
