Lagos can never carry this VAT course over. Never. Na the following week Wike won the case Lagis signed it. Wow! The fastest Bill to be passed in the history of Lagos house of Assembly. Dem don tell them say VAT in TIN can Island and Muritala Muhammed airport is now for Lagos. Do you know how much that will be generated? The last time I went to eat in eatery (I hardly eat out again), I was shocked that VAT on food in eatery is now I think 12% or so. I saw the bill and I was like...what? All grocery purchases have VAT....check your POS ticket and see...VAT.....see..Abuja is in Wahala. Secession is not needed. Way to go. Very soon, na Abuja go dey beg una.. 3 Likes |

Waa sheere joo. Let hisbah keep throwing beers into the canal and be destroying people's livelihood. No more trillions coming from the south to share by the wicked and perpetually lazy North. Let's restructure and you said no. We will use our VAT to set up sate policing and develop our regions. 2 Likes |

Always milking the citizens dry in the name of governance. Imagine paying VAT on services rendered, on goods, on this and that. But common minimum wage, they cant pay the citizens. 1 Like |

Veryfoolishboy:Thank Fowler first, the former FIRS boss who was removed unceremoniously. It was this man who hinted our southern leaders during their first meeting in asaba as one of sanwoolu entourage from lagos, that VAT collection by FIRS was a fraud and that was one of the reasons he was removed when he made a move to stop it and paved the way for financial freedom for each state through VAT. 9 Likes |
