Manchester United have now recouped the full initial
transfer fee paid for Cristiano Ronaldo through shirt sales.
United have earned £13.1 million in commission from
Ronaldo replica shirts since the kits went on sale a week
ago.
This is more than the initial £12.9 million paid out to
Juventus for the superstar’s signature.

Total proceeds from shirt sales has reached £187 million,
with the majority going to kit manufacturers Adidas.

The numbers raised by United eclipse the earnings PSG
have made from signing Lionel Messi so far.
PSG have made just £7.3 million from Messi shirt sales,
with total earnings at £103.8 million.

this summer, compared to ‘Messi 30’ PSG shirts.

Ronaldo is yet to play a game for United since returning,
which makes the figures even more staggering.
Ronaldo’s debut will take place on Saturday in front of a

u guys shud stop crying na. Ronaldo selling more shirts in one than Messi in one month has nothing 2 do with the clubs involved. Majority of the pple buying their shirts don't necessarily support the clubs in question. They're all plastic fans who r willing to follow these two guys to their new clubs.
