After our Eternal Leader, Ikemba Ojukwu returned from exile, THIS very huge crowd went to welcome him in Aba.
After the welcoming, some intellectuals of those days convinced him that he will easily win election, if he go for Governor of then Anambra state, consisting of today's Anambra and Enugwu states.
Ojukwu contested, and even in his own beloved Nnewi he couldn't even win.

Fulani used Jim Nwobodo to rig him out.
He was in a political dilemma. He couldn't start another war, a few years after returning From exile, because the international community will call him a sore loser & a war monger. They'll probably use the ICC at the Hague to arrest him.

Fast forward 2007, Same intellectuals came again with Chekwas Okorie, and persuaded Ojukwu to try politics again. He formed APGA and contested for President. Peter Obi contested for Governor.
Plan then was that MASSOB will be doing their thing with Uwazuruike, and Dim Ojukwu will be leading the fight thru politics. Ojukwu was beginning to feel sick then but he went thru the plan. Even our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was in APGA then. He's friends with Chekwas Okorie.

The Same rubbish argument you see Otellectuals peddling today, "IPOB should use their clout and try politics" & all that shit was used on Ojukwu!
Again, Ojukwu lost to Yar'Adua in Anambra State. In Nnewi gom gom, Ojukwu lost. That was when they finished him. After that he retired from politics.
They even rigged out Peter Obi with Ngige.
Many of you didn't know that Ojukwu had to accost the judge of the Peter Obi Vs Ngige election tribunal during recess before he delivered his final judgement.

Ojukwu threatened him with a pistol that he would start another war if the judge tried to abort justice that day.
A DSS agent was made to make a call to Aso rock, Obasanjo spoke with Ojukwu. APGA's mandate was restored and the rest is history.
Today Chekwas Okorie is in APC, Ngige is APC. Peter Obi whom threatened to start another war on his behalf is in PDP. All of them are worms from the same puddle.

Some of you Otellectuals from the East don't even understand the country you live in. All you do is to overrate yourselves with the stupid English you speak, then you label IPOB members uncouth & uneducated, because you think you're better than them. Perhaps because you reside abroad and have a few dollars in Ur pocket?!

The current push for IPOB to join elections by some Igbo persons once more illustrates the fact we are a naive people. Politically bereft.

At the bolded. Now I understand why Obi handed Anambra over to APGA before decamping to PDP. He never wanted to betray Ojukwu.

Today some people who are "woke" think they know better. What is the use of past experience if we don't use it? SMH.

I would have called Igbos who want elections here to discuss this article but I've seen there's no need. The last discussion I had with some showed they are almost politically clueless. People who criticize the system without understanding it.

I have also seen that many are close to their state government and so prefer things remain as is. Hence, they cry more than the traders who are sitting at home. Wicked selfishness.

1..How can a proscribed group participate in an election
2..If they should support a particular party now, you guys will turn the whole thing and say it is that particular party that is supporting or funding IPOB.
3..Once they support a particular candidate of a particular party you guys would say they have lost focus, they are now confused they longer want Biafra
4..How can a proscribed group form a political party?

Asking IPOB to join Nigeria politics is stupidity. These people asking IPOB to do this are the enemies of Ndigbo, they already know what the outcome would be, they want to ridicule Igbos. With the dysfunctional electoral system coupled with the comatose, money bag judiciary, these wolves in sheep clothing want IPOB to join Nigerian politics. They must think they are smart. Nigeria is not Europe or America. If America was Nigeria, Trump would still have been the president. We are talking about countries that have strong institutions, not Nigeria. IPOB will never be interested in Nigerian politics. The mandate is crystal clear-BIAFRA!

I remember that IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, was asked on BBC Igbo in 2019 about IPOB participating in Nigerian politics to push their agenda foward

Kanu's reply was that those who want IPOB to participate in the dirty world of Nigerian politics are those who want IPOB destroyed. He said said it was the case of a hunter who sets up a trap and is telling the animal he wants capture to enter the trap.

Kanu's reminded BBC Igbo that as popular as Ojukwu was, he was trounced in Senatorial elections in his own state in the 80's by a nobody, simply because Ojukwu did not want to rig elections like his opponents did.

Kanu's summation was that if Nigeria had a culture of free and fair elections, and was structured along along Regional lines like Britain, then a case could have been made for IPOB to become a political party, sieze power at the ballot, and move a motion for referendum in the Eastern Region just like the Scottish National Party did in Scotland

Unfortunately, Nigeria is far from being either a country that holds credible elections or being restructured.

I think Kanu was right, the last thing IPOB should do is go anywhere near the dirty world of Nigerian politics, it will be the end of them.

Who occupy 85% of federal institution ?? FULANI
who heads the military high command position ? FULANI
who said their are born to rule FULANI
