You are wrong, the president has no such power to declare a state of emergency in the country. OBJ manipulated the system by using an old law that was no longer enforceable to bully the political class then. Reason why GEJ was handicapped to use same at the height of the boko Haram cirisis in borno. It will only mean that if the opposition has even 100 votes, there candidate would be declared winner at the expense of APGA which is the dorminant party on Anambra state. That's the way it is. That is why it seems that the politicians are in support of it without coming out to do something about it because, an unpopular candidate would win easily in any election, if his supporters dare and cast their vote.

If I were Buhari, I'll ask the security forces to escort APC faithfuls(even if they're 20) to the polling centers to vote...those votes will be counted...and a winner declared!
