School management are making it difficult for people .. in delta state, school has become a serious business, private schools are busy extorting parents, government school employees also creating different avenue to extort.. you can imagine a government school giving uniforms at an outrageous amount. They even sell other items

Free education translate to no school fees, other payment is not free.
Just like free medical treatment (consultation) but other test and drugs are not free

I went to a public primary and secondary school, and I must that there ain't much difference here.


I think the only difference was that I went with these items instead of cash and the #5200 for school fee.

If I can remember correctly we were asked to bring hoe,/cutlass, dettol, broom, mop, bucket and I think chalk.
Then our P.T.A money was about #500 or less.

P:S of course na you go provide your uniform and badge then was #50, I can't remember if we paid for dossiers.

But there was no school fee
