The South west played a key role in the formation of APC and the election of Buhari as president. Without the support of South west, there won't be anything called APC. Buahri would have remained perpetually unelectable in CPC. As a result, it is only fair for the south west to make a strong case for the party's ticket after supporting Buhari to rule for 8 years. While we will not die if we don't get the presidency, we will ensure that there is power shift to the south in 2023.

Again, make no mistake about it, we are no fools in the south so we understand the Jonathan kite you guys are flying. If Jonathan wins the party ticket, we will support him just like we did in 2019 and at the end of his tenure, we will also ensure he hands over to another southerner to complete the 8 years of the south. Power will not go back to the north until after 8 years. Anything short of this, we are scattering the country for good.

Nigerians gave you lagos, Nigerians gave you the so-called economy viability you burst of every now and then. From 1999 till today, no region has gotten more political appointments, offices than you guys. When you guys want to issue your lame blackmail and silly threats, that's when you remember your "southern" mantra. But let me tell you my friend; the north can't be threatened or cowed by anybody or any region.

You talked about bringing buhari to power, now you tell me how many votes your region gave buhari in comparison to the northwest or northeast votes. And besides how is APC's victory at the 2015 polls any northerner's business as regards to 2023?

The northerners MUST be given a free passage to via for the highest office in the land under whatever party they desire, and nobody CAN stop that. And when we go to polls in 2023, we will vote for the candidate we want regardless of whatever region he emerges from.

And if a northerner emerges victorious in 2023 presidential election, there is absolutely nothing anybody can do about that!
