Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has been tipped to leave the Premier League

Chelsea's pursuit of the centre-back continued throughout the summer months, although a buyout never materialized.



And things could get worse when it is reported that Antonio Rudiger is on the list of Real Madrid centre-backs according to reports.



Chelsea bosses worked hard to sign Sevilla centre-back Jules Kounde last summer as Thomas Tuchel's final piece.



However, after not being able to agree a certain amount with Sevilla, the Frenchman remained in Andalusia and Chelsea found themselves underdog.



The Blues have sold centre-backs Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori and Marc Guehi to pick up the coveted defender. Without signing their man, Chelsea are running out of central defenders but can at least take comfort in knowing that funds are still available to bring him in.
