The Self-acclaimed defender 9f the BENUE valley Governor Samuel Ortom of BENUE State on Friday demonstrated his other trait of humility as he served his aides food. Benue's social media has been awash with pictures of the Governor whom many said gave empty plates without food to most of his aides. It could be recalled that the Governor has governed the state for over six years with no tangible project to show for the over 600billion he has collected an revenus since he assumed Governor citing insecurity as reasons for non development of the food basket. He has not also paid salaries, pensions and gratuities. He is vocal in always lampooning the President for no performance. Prior to his election in 2014 Ortom moved in churches and shed tears as to why his predecessor was not able to pay the six months salaries he was owing workers. But as a Governor, he is owing workers over 2 years salary arrears, 36 months pensions and no gratuities.
