Kenneth Ibe, a 300 level law student of the Imo State University, Owerri, who was abducted by gunmen, have been kIlled. The student, a youth leader in the state, was kidnapped on Friday night, September 24, alongside another man, on the way to a Christian wake in Uguiri in the Isiala Mbano LGA of the state. It was gathered that, while the other victim escaped from the kidnappers’ den, Ibe was killed by the abductors. His corpse was found along the Nkwo Mba road on Saturday morning, September 25. His friends and Family have taken to social media to mourn him. Metu Uche, one of his kinsmen from Ibeme, on Facebook, described the killing as “dastardly ” In his post, Okeoma said, “The killing of our brother from Isiala Mbano Local Government Area, Kenneth Ibe, a 300 law student of Imo state University today is most unfortunate. “Those who live by sword will die by the sword. What a world. Just dimmed such a shining light. My heart bleeds.”

 I wonder why they will kill him, I thought these kidnappers just demand for ransom? It's a pity the useless police don't have the resources or intelligence to tackle this nonsense. RIP to the young man, your country has failed you. |
