Nobody ever said that rotational presidency is constitutional. It is an established political practice for unity, equity and national cohesion. It was on this basis that the north demanded for power shift in 2015 after Jonathan had completed Yaradua’s term and his own full tenure. It was also on this basis that all southern candidates who were far richer and popular nationally stepped down for Yaradua at the PDP convention in 2007.
I really do not understand why we are trying to rewrite history. Why do we try to use the opinion of PDP northern politicians as the sole opinion of the north. The reality is that the PDP northern politicians in their party delineations demanded the power shift from GEJ(south) to North since they believed that Yarauda's tenure was not completely spent. Let's not add salt to injury by distorting facts.

Ok, wait for your own lesson in 2023. That's if any party fields a Yoruba. He who wants equity should come with clean hands grin grin
Sunday2021:
Yoruba voted 87% for goodluck in 2011. But GEJ disappointed the whole Yoruba land, when he sideline the whole Yoruba and give all his appointment to igbos, that was the reason why Yoruba teach him a lesson in 2015.

The only thing that can send this country to her early grave is when a northern man emerged as president in 2023.

Yes bro,it's either Igbo presidency or nothing.

Ok, Yorubas voted Buhari because of their hate for igbos. grin grin

Wait for your own lesson in 2023. Because SE+SS will not vote a Yoruba person

I just have one question for you ...if rotational presidency is not constitutional , and we believe it can serve as stabilizing factor ...why can't we then enshrine it in the constitution? Does our constitution forbids anything that brings unity ? What is the duties if our law maker if they cannot make simple laws that will keep this country United .
Exactly my thoughts!

Lazy parasites, they are not, they can stand on their own while you cannot. Most of the agro products you are arrogating to yourselves are actually coming from those states, you better extrapolate your future now and cut your clothes according to your cloth, otherwise u will be extinct of hunger in very near years
When the South wants to feed herself by going into agriculture all over the Southern states, your brothers from the North send their so called herdsmen to destroy their farms. You intentionally want the South to depend on your agro products for ever. Well, that is gonna change because any herdsmen caught in the South will be seriously dealt with!

South East are full of hate, vile and hagony

They don't deserve the Senate president slot PDP is even considering to give to them sef

They are not important as far as Nigeria politics is concerned
Lol. You are just being hateful. We don't need people like you in a United South. The North have had their turn for 8 years. Now power goes to the South and the South East...

Just as expected.

It is tomfoolery to think the north will support power rotating back to the south, it is stupid to believe that the north will support states collection of VAT.

Nigeria is simply unworkable.
Are you listening to yourself??
Simply because they don't agree you go ahead to insult Nigeria?

How about the South that agrees, did you bless Nigeria for it?

Is the north GOD?

This is the beginning of the end of Northern and Southern marriage that birthed Nigeria. It's obvious, the dirty game has begun!

Now we know who the parasites are. NGF should be ashamed of themselves, for trying to blackmail the south. Same north that was shouting power rotation during OBJ and GEJ, are now playing Oliver twist.. Take it to the bank Nigeria will never change even if the North holds power for the next 40 years. Poverty is a mind set.. All this blackmail over power is a paranoid feeling of state receiving VAT directly. Yes power rotation is not constitutional, but using it to bull others, when you hv more pressing issues is just plain sinister

This same philosophy should also be extended to the Southeast.
Southwest should back down. Don't come with that bullshit of southwest building brigdes and sacrifice.

The greed of southwest will make it very impossible for a southern so called unity

The Taliban south east ba? If you truly believe that an igbo man will become president of Nigeria someday then you truly believe that naira will be more powerful and sophisticated than dollar and pounds

This is a good development and I am happy the Northern Governors are now rubbing it on the Southern Governors' faces. I just hope and pray that they will wake up and challenge the domineering tendencies of the Fulani lead North?

I have been doubtful of the population the north has been parading. The Southern legislature must insist on electronic voting and a transparent free and fair election. The south just need to mobilize the Middlebelt in support of southern candidates. If the South fails to support their own candidate, then they should never blame the north of Fulanis for anything that happens after 2023.

Why do you choose to be subjective and over flog issues?
It's simply unwaorkable and we have the entity intact.
