Getting a website to rank on the first page of Google for commercial keywords is one thing. Getting it there and keeping it there is another. Unfortunately, many people make certain basic mistakes that prevent their websites from ever appearing as high as they could or should in search results, an SEO company in Bhopal says.

1.) Poor Technical SEO

The largest single reason that people's sites don't rank very high on search engines is that they have not been given the attention to detail in terms of technical SEO. Technical SEO, also called site structure and/or code optimization, refers to all of the steps that a website must take in order for Google and other search engines to be able to crawl it successfully.

2.) Not targeting long tail keywords

When you start pitching your commercial keywords on social media, forums and other sites where people are engaging in conversations related to your products or services, one of the most common mistakes online business owners make is sticking only with their top commercial keyword phrases. People assume that if they already rank number one for their keyword phrase with hundreds or thousands of monthly searches then they don't need any more traffic.

While it's certainly true that ranking number one for your commercial keyword phrases will generate you a good deal of traffic, if you're only using the standard method of pitching just your top commercial keywords then you're not going to be able to generate any significant search engine traffic. It's estimated that over 70% of all search engine traffic comes from long tail keywords and unless you target those too, you'll be missing out on the vast majority of the available search engine traffic.

3.) Poor link building strategies

Although there are many different ways to build links for SEO purposes these days, most professional SEOs will tell webmasters and site owners to avoid what's known as "spamming" or "black hat" strategies. This doesn't mean that those strategies won't work. In fact some of the most effective methods out there are "black hat" link building techniques that have been used for decades to turn new websites into internet marketing superstars virtually overnight.

However, even though these strategies work, they're either a) risky as far as getting your site penalized or blackballed from Google and other directories or worse b) require a lot more time and effort than the standard white hat SEO techniques that were once considered only fit for smaller blogs. These days good SEO requires a combination of both approaches to be successful but if you want to just stick with the basics then simply creating relevant content on your website will drive up your rankings almost immediately without any real downside, an SEO company in Bhopal says.

4.) No focus on local SEO

When most people think of search engine optimization, they almost always think only in the context of doing keyword research and creating articles and press releases based around those keywords. While this is important for getting high rankings, one missing aspect of effective SEO that even some online business owners neglect is local or geographical SEO. If you do business in a specific area then it's more than likely that people are going to be using their mobile devices or desktop computers to look for your company so it's essential to have both a national as well as local presence on the internet.

5.) Writing content for robots instead of humans

It used to be back in the early days of the World Wide Web that search engines were programmed simply just to find and catalog webpage and websites (and later social media posts) based on the words that were used in the Meta tags and site content. All of this changed with what's known as "content marketing" which basically means writing for humans rather than robots. This is especially true when it comes to blogging since most people who follow blogs don't even bother with posts (especially new ones) that consist mainly of bullet points, short paragraphs and infographic. If you want your blog to be successful then it needs to be written in more or less the same style as a newspaper article would be written while still containing some keywords and links where appropriate so search engines will know where they should place you within their index.

Conclusion:

If you're not already doing all of these things, then you absolutely need to get started right away. The longer you wait the more likely it is that a competitor will launch a campaign to outrank your site for both commercial and long tail keywords before you even have a chance to react.

Many people think that the mere existence of a website should already provide sales. That is why a search engine marketing specialist or an entire SEO company is involved after developing and launching an Internet resource. The essence of SEO designing at the development stage is to create a website that meets the current requirements of search engines so that the user has the opportunity to get acquainted with your Internet resource immediately after its launch and start.
Also, do not forget that the site should be user friendly and for everything that can cause difficulties it is better to make an explanation https://webwidetech.com/service/explainer-video/
