THREE THINGS THE IGBOS IN THE SOUTH EAST SHOULD AVOID ON 1ST OCTOBER NIGERIAN INDEPENDENCE.

As the Nigerian independence day (1st October) is approaching, the entire southeastern Nigerians should be very careful on how they adhere to the instructions of the Biafra secessionist group, Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) which are often unconstitutional and against the laws of the country.

It is axiomatic that this proscribed group will give orders regarding the anticipated Independence day which might be against the unity of the country, perhaps which will emanate a chaos. But the Igbos of the southeastern Nigeria should be wise now to understand that they cannot achieve anything tangible by causing havoc and unrest in the society.

These are three (3) of the things the Igbos should avoid on 1st October to avoid causing pandemonium in the society.

1. They should avoid parading or hoisting the Biafran flag. The Nigerian security agents would be on red alert to stop people who will engage in this act as this might cause havoc. The independence day should be celebrated peacefully and not with chaos or blood shed.

2. Avoid dismantling the Nigerian flag. This act would also infuriate the Nigerian security agents to engage in a brutal clash with perpetrators. No one should be involved in the dismantling of the Nigerian flag to avoid clash which might result to loss of lives or destruction of properties.

3. Avoid arguing with Nigerian security agents. No one should engage in any dispute or argument with any Nigerian security agent, especially on matters regarding Biafra agitation. This might be risky.

Please endeavour to stay safe , stay alive for the sake of your family and enjoy a peaceful independence day.

Wisdom is profitable to direct and guide.
