MINUTE FROM THE PDP NYA NEC MEETING

Opening prayer was done by Comrade Hilekaan Donald(Benue state Chairman).

The meeting is in attendance of:

Welcoming Address:
The National Coordinator welcomed all the participants to the emergency meeting and encouraged everyone in the meeting to be courageous, because the meeting resolution will be available to the general PDP NYA Family inline with decisions reached during the North East Zonal Conference.

PDP National Convention Plans:
The National Coordinator made the floor open for general contributions on how the PDP NYA Family will be organized during the National Convention in Abuja.
The suggestions are as follow:

i. After several suggestions, a conclusion was reached through votes, where a total of 12 votes supported that we grace the PDP National Convention in Abuja. We will be in Specific dress code (Customized T-Shirt and Cap's).
Then suggestions were reached that we will call the CSO of Wadata Plaza and others Convention Committee Chairmen's on the arrangements of the convention.

Nomination for PDP NYA Member Contest for any National position in the forthcoming National Convention:
The National Coordinator spoke on how each one of us mattered to this great movement and also spoke on how we should look for a post to contest in the forth coming PDP National Convention.
Norminations started and the National Coordinator was first norminated to pick from any of the several Deputy posts, but this was turned down by the National Coordinator for the fear of zonning and other personal reasons.
Then our National Women Leader Hajiya Habiba was norminated for the post of the National Deputy Woman Leader. And after series of suggestions and points raised, it was agreed that we were going to consider the zonning arrangement and if it favours us, then she will go for it and others if possible
But she also requested the need to consult her leader and discuss the matter.

Any Other Business:
1. The National Cordinator suggested if any other member declares interest for any post in the forthcoming coming convention, we will still support them.

2. Hon. Eseobong Emmanuel reminded us that our profile is still yet to be submitted to the National Headquarters.

3.Comrade Hilekaan Donald thanked the National Exco on behalf of Benue State and also suggested our documents be edited.

4. Mr. Dahiru also suggesed we get more appointment letters for new members and try to get ID cards as political activites will soon resume.

5. Comrd Ekpo Ntiero suggested we look for contacts of the chair or any member of some committees to help making our attendance possible.

6. Comrd Mathias also suggested we make 2 to 3 nore banners for this occasion.

7. Mr Dahiru suggested each state appoint at least one SA on Disable Affairs.

Vote of Thanks:
The National Woman Leader gave the vote of thanks. She thanked all the members for cooperation and love towards one another and she wished us the very best in all we do.

Closing Prayer:
The National Coordinator, comrade Uwaisu Sulaiman gave the closing prayers.
