Everton will again be without Dominic
Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison and Seamus
Coleman when they face Manchester United
on Saturday.
After scoring in each of Everton’s opening
three Premier League matches, Calvert-
Lewin has been missing for their last three.
Richarlison and club captain Coleman have
been absent for the previous two fixtures.
On Calvert-Lewin and Coleman, manager
Rafa Benitez said on Friday: “They are not
ready yet. They started on the pitch little by
little but they are not ready for this game.”
The Spaniard also confirmed that Andre
Gomes will miss the trip to Manchester,
while Alex Iwobi has “a little problem” and
will be assessed before the match.
In better news, midfielder Jean-Philippe
Gbamin is available again after another spell
on the sidelines.
“JP is training again and is fully fit,”
confirmed Benitez. It is good news on him,
because we need bodies.”
United, meanwhile, face injury concerns of
their own after Harry Maguire and Luke
Shaw missed their midweek Champions
League win over Villarreal. Maguire was not
included in Gareth Southgate’s England
squad for the upcoming international
fixtures.
