Last week alone, over 15 innocent Nigerians were murdered by terrorists in Anambra alone. Should we continue like this? It is only a criminal that should be afraid of military exercise meant to wipe out criminals in his environment. I just pray that this exercise is sustained until the last terrorist in the East dispatched to hell by the Army. If Hausa Fulani North can tolerate daily killings, I want to tell you that no true born Igbo with Igbo blood running in his vein will take it, we don't give birth to battalion of children like the Northerners and that is why the death of one Igbo man in the hands of home grown terrorist is more of a genocide against every Igbo man. I've always had a problem with this practice of our military personnel releasing statements to the public or holding a news conference to address the public.
I think that is a wrong way to go in terms of interacting with the citizenry. We are in a democratic governed society where civilians are in power. Having the military freely dispense messages to the nation in any form shows a wrong signal, and leaves a door open for rogue soldiers to feel overly empowered and have a desire to plan a coup.

This message should have been announced by a minister or any other government official in the Buhari government.

Don't mix up the issues, we know about Fulani herdsmen kilers that Obadiah and Danjuma talked about, we also know that Fulani herdsmen are not the unknown gun men that murder people in the East, they are not the people who threatened everyone with no election in Anambra.
