The Number of internet users is quite overwhelming, in this situation information are stored and processed in web servers, these servers most of which are owned by tech giants, like facebook, google, apple, Microsoft, IBM, amazon and more, then what happens if facebook stay offline for more time;

There are only few companies which will stand the shocks, companies like google would be able to take anything but competitors would be shell shocked, first of all, every day, Facebook takes care of billions of users, this means that there would he billions of people chasing fewer server space.

More people would be using less servers,facebook is on top of the cyber and social food chain, little by little spaces would be invaded, every day more networks would be experiencing downtime, hardware would be worn out easily and there would far more demand for emergency electricity.

If facebook continue to be down, the real winner would be Google, it has some of the biggest servers in the universe and more people would be doing more search but if it persist for a long time, even google would suffer as many dead links resolving from facebook.

Like space dust, google would become less accurate and before you know it, it would seem as if humanity had been attacked from space, crucial system would not work effectively, we would wait for what NASA would say.
