Inasmuch as I'd applaud successive government in that State for massive infrastructural developments to attract investors, it will do well if the government embraces massive empowerement of the citizens in all spheres. This is an area Lagos State is excelling.

All of these are bloody lies how many times has Nigerians government signed an agreement and how many of them are alive today after 6 months the company will Park out of the country wait and see it is not the first time. All of these agreements are fake in fact they signed agreements with companies which do not even exist. I remember one time Lagos State signed a agreement with a company in India which has packed up 10 years ago

What do we just do it TV publicity, what happened to the German and Italian company which was coming to plant rice in Nigeria not think now. What happened to the Israeli companies nothing on the ground they just sign mou with any idiot. When Nigerian government is running helter-skelter to borrow 200 million US dollar. Didn't somebody will come and invest 600 million u.s. dollar in agriculture in Nigeria, nation of illiterate. Be deceiving yourself into poverty. The newly commissioned rice mill in the south-west of Nigeria most of the money was used to buy properties abroad

Certain events are worth celebrating but this is not one of them.

Africa has the best natural Parks in the world that foreign travelling agents make good money out of. If we want to turn any part of our natural Parks into industrial park, how much technical know-how do we need that we cannot find locally from our university graduates?

But just for the sake of laundering money, it has to be a foreign contact. Africa, the world laugh at our leaders.
