Our core competence is in the provision of IP Connectivity Solutions with High Availability, Low Latency and superior throughput. We design & engineer WAN and internet solutions around our existing national and International core infrastructure, utilizing satellite, Microwave, Wireless Radio Frequency and Fibre Optic technologies.

Job title: Human Resource & Admin Officer

Location: Lagos

Reporting to: Head Human Resource & Admin

Closing date: 12th October, 2021



Job description


· Maintaining employee records (Filing & documentation)

· Helping with various arrangements internally, from travel to processing expenses.

· Ensure Confirmation Evaluation Forms are sent to managers

· Ensure confirmation letters are given to employees and payroll unit is informed

· Ensure employee details on the HRIS and employee files are updated

· Ensure HR Letters i.e introduction letters, offer letters, confirmation letters, bank letters etc are attended to on time.

· Ensure proper Annual & Sick Leave documentation & records for employees.

· Ensure employee CUG lines are active at all times.

· Keeping track of the company’s compliances such as NSITF, ITF DPR permit etc.

· Ensure compliance with ICSL recruitment process map.

· Ensure CVs are sent to respective line managers for shortlist

· Manages Interview schedule after shortlist

· Ensure Feedback is given to all interviewed candidates

· Ensure that welcome packs are given to successful candidate

· Ensure that welcome packs are completed appropriately and returned to HR

· Liaise with IT support to ensure email, laptops, are given to new employee

· Ensure that references are sent out for new employees


Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

· Graduate of a recognized University

· At least 1 year relevant experience as HR officer

· Ability to work with numerical & graphical data and strong analytical skills.

· High level interpersonal skills which develop productive relationships internally and externally.

· Adequate knowledge of PENCOM, NSITF, ITF compliance and Labour Law

· Excellent business planning acumen and strategic planning skills

· Good report writing skills

· Good IT skills- Ms Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access, HRIS

· Good understanding of generalist HR practice

· Good time management and initiative

· Good negotiation skills

· Strong procurement and contracting skills

· Strong systems experience with aptitude for spreadsheets.
