chaloskyx:Actually, he's not Femi... He is Akinwunmi. Not that one that knows the truth but doesn't say. This one is equipped with the knowledge of how the economy works. Femi is a mouthpiece of Bubu, this Akinwunmi is a president of a continental financial institution. The only thing they have in common is that they both bear Adeshina and let's say they are both Nigerians You get it? 1 Like |

WesternOligarch:Part of management is borrowing what you can pay. Imagine using 73% of your monthly salary to pay debt? Yet you keep borrowing for next budget. Those hanging on debt to GDP argument are killing us, very soon the govt will use 100% of it's monthly income to pay gbese. They are laying time bomb for the next govt similar to Osun state. 1 Like |

WesternOligarch:oga you no understand the post you dey give opinion, which management ? Your debt service to revenue ratio is at 73% and you are talking about management, management of what ? The sad thing is that the borrowed funds were not deployed mostly into performing assets or sectors so our oil revenue bears most of the burden of repaying that loan and we are already at 73 fvcking percent. |

ChimaAdeoye: How can you call advanced countries highly productive nations which is true on the one hand and then oppose borrowing for infrastructure on the other. Some Nigerians are not capable of thinking with the full picture in view. We MUST continue to borrow to complete critical national infrastructure especially railways and dams. We must tackle debt to revenue problem on the revenue side. We must pay our taxes. We must pay highway tolls. We must pay for petrol at a price that reflect market rates. We should tax luxury and conspicuous consumption highly. Finally innovation, invention and hard work 1 Like 1 Share |

What many do not know is that This Guy is a child of God.. Been monitoring him for 3years now.I Pray he doesn't get soiled. We have other intelligent economists but they'd rather skew policies to favour those destroying Nigeria. Like I always say,an educated devil is more dangerous than an illiterate devil. |

ChimaAdeoye: So it is mere $7bn external debt we have as at 2018 that people are shouting debt debt everywhere. What is $7bn to a $462bn economy? Govt should ignore the market noise and implement it's plans swiftly. The domestic debt are the treasury bills that the CBN use to control money supply and inflation and domestic bonds for local projects and expenses. What is the government revenue figure and how much is truly used for debt repayment? People are just throwing around different percentage, some said it's 90% of revenue a week a go, this one said it's 73% which one is the true figure? It appears it's around 30% |

RiceProducers:SMH for you guys. Why don't we start buy knowing how much we've borrowed for critical infrastructures so far and what is the actual percentage utilization. And also how much was borrowed for non critical infrastructures and its utilization. We need these data to move forward. |

money121:the USA does not have a mono economy which is tossed around by the price waves of crude oil in the international market, they own the own and control the international y recognised reserve currency of the world, so their economy is not controlled by the flunctuations of their exchange rate. |

stonemasonn: You criticized at the start without asking for data. Now you are asking me for data?. Nobody should give you data. Lagos Calabar rail and road has multiplier effects and GDP support benefits that should be clear even to a borrow-to-pay-salaries PDP supporter like you. Portharcourt Maiduguri rail also has clear benefits to an ordinary SSS student. Where your silly countrymen are running to because "there is light" and "good infrastructure" are the most indebted countries in the world by debt to GDP and debt to revenue. Even China is owing $5Tr to 7Tr. |

derecho: Adesina is Bill Gates boy. He is a tool of globalists. Stop deceiving yourself and get serious with developing your country. Pay your taxes and encourage your country men to pay their taxes. Debt to revenue ration will increase |

RiceProducers:We're not China. If China decides to pay all it's debt within one year, they'll pay it, Chinese debt is to keep the value of its currency low compared to the dollar not because of some elephant infrastructures. |

RiceProducers: You go just type anyhow... You don't even know the person you are talking to. So i can't troll in peace again?. Moreover, assuming there's enough money in circulation, will the government be borrowing money and be financing it with recurrent expenditure again? And why can't the CBN have enough money to borrow the government again? Or through which bank will the DMO lias for debt with other foreign creditors? |
