Brother, is Peter Obi contesting ? Has he signified interest ? On which platform ? You see, this is what the South East ought to have done earlier. You have not brought out candidates and have not strategized on major party platforms and built bridges within the South. All you want is for Nigerians to zone Presidency to South East and let South East fields candidates in APC and PDP. It has never happened in Nigeria. The battles between Obasanjo and Ekwueme was very tough in 1998 / 1999 .

When Orji Uzor Kalu came out of prison, Gbajabiamila visited him twice. The IBO youths said he was sent by Tinubu to beg him. Emmanuel Udom of AkwaIbom singlehandedly convinced Ambode to convene Southern Governors Forum meetings 2017 which was co-hosted by both governors in Lagos, the South East people said they don't want to have anything to do with South West. This time around, the Southern Governors Forum failed at Enugu because of 2023 Presidency and VAT. The meeting failed because of vendetta against South West and South South people. It is easier for Peter Obi to emerge as a Southern Presidential candidate through the Southern Governors Forum than for him to go through Primary of either APC or PDP against Tinubu or Osinbajo. If TINUBU or Osinbajo faces Peter Obi on any party platform during the primary , he cannot win. This is because of the setback of the civil war. Most politicians in South West and the North are aware of this. Rather than building good relationship with neighbours in the South, the IBOS are creating enemies within the South. I pray that Afenifere and organizations in South West, Pa Edwin Clark and other South South leaders can come together and discuss the Igbos Presidency of 2023. They should forget about their shortcomings.
