Maobichek: If you understand how Nairaland mods work, you’ll see the logic behind me using Igbo politicians instead of Igbo alone. Mods won’t ban me for using the word politicians with putrid hate and etc in my post. But people know what I’m referring to in that post. Back to your post, unfortunately people like you are minority among the Igbos, Infact probably 1%. Most Igbos that I know always hate this man and always show it on thread related to him daily. That you want to feign ignorance about this shows you’re not being truthful. 10 Likes 1 Share |

"The National Coordinator, Buhari/Osinbajo Support Group, Ebunola Martins, has said that the next Nigerian President to succeed Muhammadu Buhari in 2023 should come from the South-East region." God forbid! The day someone from Southeast becomes the president of Nigeria, it will signal the end of Nigeria for many reasons. First, ibo presidency will turn Nigeria into foreign import capital of the world-leading to collapse of Nigeria within days. How many of you have been to Southeast between 2000 and today? In 2000, Southeast population was about 15 million people. Today, the population of southeast is between 5 to 6 million people. The cause of dwindling population in the southeast is import by ibos. Foreign import is jobs killer. Anytime you spend $1 importing foreign goods, you killed between 100 to 200 jobs. Foreign import lead to mass immigration of citizens to another country Second, Ibos president will run an exclusion government. Ibos run government will exclude all citizens from south/South--leading to unrest and military take over In Nigeria. Third, ibos run government will create many unconstitutional laws in Nigeria to benefit ibos, leading to authoritarian government. Fourth, Nigeria under ibos president will become Somalia--a failed state. A failed state is one in which the central government lacks power to govern--- leading to emergence of different factions to gain influence. We have seen this in Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia and Yemen. Fifth, a southeast presidency will automatically lead to divisions of Nigeria into many countries. I speak to many Nigerians and the general consensus is ibo presidency will never happen in our life time. 3 Likes |

jaxxy: What has been his personal contribution? Has APC gotten 25% from any South East State in a Presidential election? That is the investment i am talking about.. If South East people don't support the party, why should the party reward them? In the 2015 election, the Senate President was allocated to the South East, they didn't vote any APC senator! So why should it change if the presidential ticket is given to the South East? 3 Likes 1 Share |

It is the turn of the south and if you aren't lazy, let any part of the south throws the ring in and see who will emerged. Power isn't given, it's always snatched using the legal and constitutional means and not 5hrouh force from our brothers from that side. |

jaxxy: In politics, it is give and take. If anybody want anything, they will invest in that thing. The Igbo have every right to DEMAND for the PDP presidential ticket based on their support over the years. They can't do same in APC because they have not invested in the party. So, why are the Igbo not demanding for PDP presidential ticket but asking that APC give them her own ticket? Remember, when APC was formed, they invited APGA to join but only parts of them did, leaving APC to be weak in South East 2 Likes |

Ezeego1:This is not hatred sir. What is ibo doing with APC? Think sir. What the heck is ibo doing with APC? APC was formed in 2014 by: 1. ACN led by Tinubu (SW strong zone) 2. CPN led by Buhari (NE strong zone) 3. Aggrieved PDP members (No strong zone) The main ibo there is Rochas, Ngige, and some other guys. Ojukwu gave you APGA. So, why did you destroy APGA? If APGA is strong, you will not be begging now. Who killed APGA? Was it a yoruba or hausa or fulani man? The same APGA, you refuse to accept the candidate now. APGA is dead. Whose fault is it? Cos of your hatred for Tinubu, you aligned with the old PDP. And unfortunately for you, APC won. You bullied the govt and then again in 2019, you brought Atiku amd Peter Obi. You made your choice. And then you lost. Now, you want to port to the same part you rubbished. You want Tinubu to allow you reap where he sowed cos it is your turn. You are all jokers. Una never get sense. When you get sense, you will humble yourselves and team up with SW and SS to have a common goal. You are always the spoilers. Everytime, na ibo wahala. Na only you? Una go carry drugs abroad. Molest girls in markets. Import fake drugs. You all left and abandon to towns to hustle in Lagos. Then you started claiming you developed Lagos. Wetin na? Na only you people? Dem curse you? Dem swear for una? Una no even dey think. You have very low population. Just one state in the north is bigger than the whole of 5 states in your region. Yet you will be beating chests. Instead of you to team up with other south and Desk a good agreement to habe you on board. You go bully in PDP. You go bully in APC. And then also use APGA threaten una selves. You no dey shame? You never see anything. If you dont change and let us work together as a team in South, the next 100 years, you will keep crying like babies. Mofos! 5 Likes 1 Share |

You are a true statesman, you have spoken well. I hope the power brokers will listen to you and do the needful. A South East presidency will heal many wounds and end the agitation for separation, because it will answer the question of exclusion of the Igbo nation and will bury the suspicion of gang up against the Igbo nation. Let us do it to save Nigeria from division |

Cashsteady: I keep tell them BIAFRA is a pipe dream. Until I see their people currently in Amuwo Odofin area start selling their properties and moving back to the East then I will believe them. The igbo don't know the value of alliance building. There are three major tribes in the country. One tribe is in constant fight with the two remaining tribes guess what the battle is already over. Even the South South people don't like them. They need to do a lot of soul searching. |

I just took my time to read comments over this topic and honestly I feel disappointed, the South don't seem to understand that the north is playing a serious game with them. The divide and rule game is obviously playing out among the southerners. I don't think an average igbo man hate tinubu as is being portrayed online and I don't think tinubu hate the igbos..... the north are just sowing the hate seed so as to put confusion btwn the South so they can continue to keep a region down. |

eeetuk: If an Igbo man becomes president. The 1st that will happen is CNN will carry it. It is Smtn that has Never happened bt should happen for the Good of Nigeria. It will be exactly like how Obama became president of America. It will echo the audacity of Hope. It will draw goodwill to Nigeria and belief the Nigeria can indeed change and make a change. Many Nations will be interested in Nigeria and people will flock in from all corners of the world to see the new president and what he has to offer. Greatness will be restored in Nigeria as the true Giant Of Africa. All Nigerians in the diaspora will come back immediately to experience the change in Nigeria. Nigeria will be known as a fair country where justice, hope and peace is most important. Nigerians will believe in Nigeria. Prosperity will begin. 1 Like |

Some people thought Buhari likes ibo. It is a lie. They only want to discourage tinubu. Even if tinubu steps down the fulani caliphate will still choose one of their own This is just divide and rule tactics and the south are falling for it |
