Ekohotblog reports that Agnes Jebet Tirop, Kenya’s two-time World Championship bronze medalist, has been discovered dead. On Wednesday, October 13, the 25-year-old long-distance runner, who represented Kenya at the Tokyo Olympics, was discovered dead in her home in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County. Barnaba Korir, Chairperson of Athletics Kenya in the Nairobi Region, verified the terrible news, saying she suffered stab wounds in the belly.
