I also studied Geography and planning with a 4.3CGPA, fresh graduate though. I've been anticipating and looking forward to partake in this scheme (WAEC Examiner)

I'm also a first timer. Hoping to have the experience and also put some cash to my pocket for the mean time

Alas, this is about to fizzle out. I can't cope attending the 3 days coordination as a gatecrasher, which hopefully would kickstart tomorrow

Cost of transportation had skyrocketed (rise over the roof) making it somewhat difficult at my end to cope for those 3 days

I knew people who even mark thrice cos they have student teachers under them...they will give those ones peanuts but under two days they always finish one parcel...

The diagram below is a design on the window of a building. The curved part XY is an arc of a circle. (The centre of the circle is not Z). The rise of the segmental arc is 10cm, its span is 100cm and ZX=ZY=120cm.
Calculate, taking π to be 22/7 where necessary (a) the radius of the circle (b) The area of the segmental cap correct to 2s.f. (c) The total area of the design, correct to 3s.f.

Well you read it differently..I'm not talking about portfolios..I know the hierarchy dude..yes I'm still an AE...I left marking for 3years now and I was surprised I still got called up...sometimes wakapass is allowed

Is there no angle, there should be an angle that the two 120 make with each other. Then area of the segment becomes: area of the sector - area of the triangle.
