Yoruba are not village dwellers like you faecal oha drinking OSUs from the erosion ravaged land of savages ! While your forebears were still hobnobbing with some primitive primates in your evil enclave,Yoruba were known to be setting the pace and recording successes in all areas of human endeavors; first of their kinds in Africa ! It's therefore not an accident that south west is not just the most developed region of Nigeria but also the most urbanised. It is a statistical fact ! The bolded is just another display of crass ignorance by a village boy ! The first time your forebears had an encounter with civilisation was when they stepped on Oodua land. It has not stopped since then; your people keep arriving in droves !

I understand your need to aggrandise and inflate your ego. It stems from the acute form of inferiority complex, often disguised by an appearance of superiority, which a typical igbo suffers from ! It was the same reason a certain Nnamdi Azikiwe preferred to be Premier of the defunct western region. It did not just start today; you've always been envious, jealous and wanted what belonged the Yoruba !

Who needs Igbo's supports to become anything in Nigeria ? You're nothing but inconsequential lots ! You can't stop Yoruba people from achieving whatever they set their minds to or emerging as a successor to Buhari in 2023. Thar's just the truth and a pointer to how worthless you guys are ! Ode,you've even resorted to telling lies in your desperate attempts to repackage an obvious gibberish or where did I tell you about any " more Yoruba than Igbo voted for Buhari in elections" in any of my responses ?

You're just a frustrated troll who can't make any reasonable point; a senseless blabber ! I'm done with you. Now, crawl back into whatever miserable hole you came out from and remain dumber than you're already there !

One can imagine the type of family you come from. No peace. You deserve pity.

So Aguiyi Ironsi was from one of Yoruba, Ijaw and Hausafulani?
Nigeria didn't start in 1999, Zik was once president.

You werent shocked when your people were spewing hate to everyone post 2015? What goes around and all that...
They so much insulted and spewed a lot of lies and historical revisionist tales against Edo State for giving 40% votes to Buhari in 2015 as if Edo State owed Jonathan a moral allegiance on their behalf. They claimed Edo people sold their soul to the party of the demonic Yorubas and Hausafulanis. But today they are asking for the ticket of the same APC party of demons and Jihadists. If APC gives these people ticket in 2003 then Edo people will be vindicated for rejecting APC in the last election even though their choice was naive and founded on a cheap propaganda fit for only tards.

Tell me 1 yoruba politician that have the quality of becoming a good president
But in 1999 you Igbos voted a landslide for a Yoruba man Obasanjo on the argument that he was a unifier and patriot who had all it took to turn Nigeria to a utopia. So ?

Examples of the ibo pysche abound, the good thing is we are all wising/wised up to them. Alas Sardauna in his famous video was right. I dont think they understand just how much damage they have done to their cause by their actions after the Jonathan defeat.

Nobody is giving them ticket both parties know Ibos are unelectable.

In fairness to the Ibos, they didnt really have a choice, both candidates were yoruba. Ibo will not vote yoruba given a choice....and we are fine with that!!!! We dont covet presidency like they do, we dont have an inferiority complex like they do, we know that who is president does not make a difference in reality.

Does the constitution of Nigeria forbid him from seeking the premier ship of Western Region?

Have you ever interrogated why South East is the poorest region in Nigeria?

Is the economic status of the geo-political region like SE is reflection of their potential in a true federalism or the a true reflection of the suffocating unitary system of government which is disproportionately affecting some regions?

VEHINTOLAR:

Yoruba will say,if you promise to give me an attire, I'll need to first check the one you're putting on ! Statistically, south east region is one of the poorest regions in Nigeria; second only to the north east - a wartorn region ! A quick check on the website of the federal bureau of statistics will clear whatever doubts you may have.

As for the Yoruba people, they demonstrated their administrative ingenuity and progressive visions during the first and second republic. Western region was even far ahead of some European countries in terms of developments and growths;it is a verifiable fact. We know those who truncated the dreams of those era ! A certain Nnamdi Azikiwe even preferred to be identified with the region or why did you think he,an Igbo man wanted to be the Premier of western region ?

Talking about experiment, the negative impacts of the one conducted by the likes of Ironsi,Ojukwu and Azikiwe have refused to go away, even up till today ! So,why should we allow history to repeat itself by entrusting our lives with another Igbo who is most likely to conduct another terrible experiment ? Igbo people throng on a daily basis to Yoruba and Hausa land. They are leaving their region in droves as if some demons are sending them away yet,you want these same Yoruba and Hausa people to see you (Igbo) as their saviours ? You must be kidding yourself !

If what we see here on NAIRALAND is to be considered, then one can safely say that there is a serious dearth of intelligent people in Igbo land. Most of you guys just don't think or should we say that you're just incapable of thinking !

The reluctance of the PDP which they have been slaving for and making enemies for themselves to give them ticket for 2023 is alone instructive of the destruction they did to their own image through their toxic and venomous post Jonathan defeat rhetorics. The striking irony about that their inconsolable sorrow over Jonathan's self-inflicted defeat remains the fact that Jonathan wasn't of their region and that even after the SS people who own Jonathan had put the issue behind them and moved on, Igbos continued to whine and cry over it. The message it sent to all other Nigerian tribes was that the Igbo person is too emotional and personalizes issues too much to be trusted with power, and that is what is being demonstrated to them today by their own PDP in practical terms of not willing to simply hand her ticket to them despite all their years of slavery for the party.

Then Igbos should have the right to seek a nation of their own if they feel they don't belong to where they are not considered eligible to lead. At least let them go and lead themselves to doom if that's their end

oyatz:

Of course, an Igbo candidate has 100% right to be president. No where have i ever said otherwise.

ANY citizen irrespective of his ethnic background has the inalienable right to aspire for the highest post in the land.

However, only one person can be the president at a time. Those who don't win today can win tommorow if they persist in their pursuit of the goal.

Where have I ever say they shouldn't go?

Every part of Nigeria that don't want to be part of this country should be allowed to break away because unity, just like love can NOT be enforced.
