Nah, this man is wrong.

South East are just full of bad boys and not some secessionists as being painted...

We just need a leader that's independent and free from any bias in this country...

We can't risk to give leader to one region just because of making their bad boys to relax their bad behaviour.
So when yorubas talk about presidency returning to South. It has to be a yoruba candidate

So if the presidency is option to return to the South, the candidate with the require qualities and the candidate that has been working for it will be made the president, and nobody will give any presidency to another person on a platter,

Being a number citizen of a country with many tribes is a delicate responsibility.

So, anybody that wants to be president should begin to work for it rather than sit in another's man land and be lamenting to be given a position he doesn't strive for,

If someone doesn't work for a position, what's the probability that he will achieve success during his tenure... ZERO.

A northern became president we saw a double-fold increase in insecurity. We have had 8 presidents from the North that have ruled for over 40years combine and see what the north looks like.

A little history my friend. In 1993, Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola popularly known as MKO contested for the presidency position
and won the election in what people termed the freest and fairest election in Nigeria history and instead of IBB to hand over to Abiola, he annulled the election.

Now, fast forward to 1999, Nigeria was about to return to democracy and the man who was the rightful owner to the throne was already dead and buried. Now where would the president comes from is the next question on every right thinking Nigerian lips. Since the Yoruba man won the previous election and was denied ruling the country, it was common logic that the next president should come from there.

It wasn't handed to the Yorubas on a platter of gold.

Now, 20 years later, the Yorubas realize one thing after missing out in 1960 to the coalition between the Ibos and the Hausas and the same thing happened in 1979 and almost repeat itself in 1999, the Yorubas realize that to rule Nigeria, you need the support of other people and since 2003 has been forming allies with different regions. An example, in 2011, the north voted mostly for CPC while the whole south allied together to deny CPC and in 2015 joined hands together with the Yorubas to win the election.

If you want to rule Nigeria, you need the support of other regions and to get the support of other regions, you need to dialogue with them and not to abuse them and show your hatred towards them. Durin GEJ administration, the SW was marginalized and in retaliation, the Yorubas aligned with the north to push out GEJ. that is how to play politics.

Finally, it is wrong to say Alex Ekeueme founded PDP but Alex was one of the founding members of the party

Go back to history: Alex Ekwueme was to succeed President Shehu Shagari when Buhari military government took over democracy.

Ekwueme piloted PDP in 1999 and a Yoruba, Olusegun Obasanjo, became presidential candidate of PDP.
Obasanjo won and ruled Nigeria for 8 years between 1999-2007..

If you are woken from slumber now, why would you not say that it’s the turn of the Igbo in 2023 to succeed PMB?

Illiterate... Since Dangote is richest man in Africa, the living standard of Nigerians are better than that of South Africans, Rwanda, Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Namibia, Ghana. Olodo.

VEHINTOLAR:

Rotation or no rotation, there was no way any northerner would have emerged as the President of Nigeria in 1999 on the accounts of injustice meted out to Abiola,as an individual and Yoruba people at large. The fact is that no northerner too can emerge as the President of Nigeria without the supports of southerners. That was why Buhari could succeed only with the support of southern coalition and political sagacity of Tinubu, the man you guys love to hate, after third attempts !

Historically,Igbo people had always formed alliances with the northerners,at the expense of southern interests and brotherhood, for them ( northerners) to emerge as Presidents of Nigeria; it's a fact. Did Ojukwu not support Shagari ? How about the unholy alliances of Azikiwe and Balewa ? The only time Yoruba people decided to go into any form of alliance with the north was in 2011 and that was because President Jonathan naively bite the fingers that fed him;he was actually misled by these same Igbo people !

Tell us,how are the Igbo being marginalised in Nigeria ? That's laughable, you know ? The fact is that everybody is being marginalised - Yoruba,Hausa,Efik,Ijaw,Ibibio,
Kanuri,Itshekiri,Ishan,Igala etc. Marginalisation is not found only in Igbo's dictionary; we are all being marginalised in Nigeria. The only difference is that while the rest of us are dealing with our own form of marginalisation, Igbo people think they can use theirs to blackmail their ways to the Aso rock;e no go work !

Perhaps, when Igbo people stop throwing insults all around and direct same at the people they need their supports to achieve whatever goal they set for themselves; when they stop seeing themselves as better than everybody when in actual fact,it is other way round in most cases, other non Igbo may want to consider an Igbo person for the highest office in Nigeria. The toxic nature of igbo and the tendencies to dominate, intimidate others makes an Igbo candidacy unsaleable for now !

History is a very good teacher !
Only a foolish person conducts an experiment for 60 years but without expected results, yet he continues.

Yoruba and Fulani have ruled Nigeria since 1960. Nigeria is on the brink of failure, no modern infrastructures work.
Will you be foolish to continue with Yoruba and Fulani leadership but refuse to try the Igbo?
Common, put on your thinking cap.

an ibo man's version of the promise land is a land where the ibos control and dominate everything and everybody......and thats why an ibo man will never be president because the whole country have wised up to them. They were in power for only 6 months in 1966, they thought they would rule forever, they turned the whole country upside down, we are all paying for it till today. Right to referendum na dem remove am, resource control, na them remove am, Unitary government, na dem start am. Everything they are fighting for today is what they put in place when they thought they would be in power forever. The Northerners came and said "thank-you very much for making the laws that now favour us but we would never have been able to do on our own" !! We have been paying the price for 6 months of Ibo rule for the last 54 years.

it is the ibo man that unwittingly gave the North political and legal power over every one else. They always had the population but they didnt have power until Ironsi seized power. Before ironsi, dont forget the Northern party came 3rd in the elections, only an ibo man who came 1st would hand the man who came third in an election, power over him...who does that? .... again because they underestimated the North thinking they were backward and they could be manipulated not knowing the Northern elite are the masters of politics.

No single Northerners will vote for Igbo, even we at the south south will never give our vote.
They should continue supporting the unknown gunmen and ESN terrorists group till they get Biafra
