Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, has called out to the media to stop ignoring governors’ wives.

The First Lady revealed this on Wednesday night in Abuja at an event, stating that if the media engages first ladies, their projects will get more visibility.

Aisha, the Special Guest of Honour, was represented by her spokesman, Aliyu Abdullahi, expressed that the media has a pivotal role to play in setting the agenda for discourse and amplifying worthy courses.

She said, “I call on media practitioners to engage more with first ladies so that their projects can get more visibility.

“The partnership will be a win-win because the media would have discharged a part of its social responsibility”.

Aisha commended the wives of governors who have been assisting women, the elderly, the poor and the less-privileged.

Why should the media be bothered with people whose offices are largely unconstitutional

As your husband would say, you belong to za oza room, the office of the first lady is unconstitutional.
