Yeah, its been anticipation galore for most of Modo's fans and haters alike, the album Commercial Break, where everyone expected to see Mode in another light. Well the first single has dropped, and from comments on notjustok and twitter, its still the usual polarised reviews, heads love it, haters don't, so really nothing has changed with regards to reception. But for me listening to the song, I ll say its still the usual mode, same punchlines, metaphors and egotistic lines. Bayozmusic surely impressed with the beats. Nice song, but not a classic. What I found irritating is Modes poor breath control, wtf! I noticed it on Rap Justice frm his G.E.G.N.E.M album and it has resurfaced again. Another problem I have is the title I'm back. That should be a title for Eedrris or Baba Dee and not Mode who has dropped 3 albums in the last 1year. Mode said in an interview last year,'my fans love me for mystyle, if I go commercial and people dnt feel it, I stand to lose even my fans' Well I guess we should wait for the whole album. Peace.
