Oga is not a must 50 percent of your soldiers leave.. that little 2 percent that run away can take infos to ur enemies. Soldiers who desert will hide forever.
You can't desert Nigerian military to support Biafra.Unless Biafra wins.If not,they will court martial them all.
The offer Biafra will make had better succeed.If not, it's death to all betraying Nigerian soldiers.

Also,civil war can still break out.If they can be executing military coups and overthrowing government in power at this age in some African countries,then civil can still be possible.
No world power is coming unless a state of emergency is declared which I don't see happening soon.

South South are not supporting one Nigeria.South east (Biafra) are not supporting.Southwest are not supporting.
Why then do we still have Nigeria since it's only North that is supporting?
This is to tell you that there are powers more than ours controlling things in this nation.
Any threat to Nigeria will be duly neutralized.Look at Sunday Igboho,look at MNK.Look at what they did to peaceful endsars protesters just because they saw them as a threat.
